Looking horrible when you know Jay & Bey people let them know AHEAD of time. SMH.

“Looking horrible” …….. what kind of gay comment is that to make about families who have gone through what they have?! They’re just meeting some entertainers bruh … this wasn’t a trip to the White House …… They are real people still in the struggle …… get your life!

Hov starting to look like that old dude trying to hold on to his youth a lil too hard/much. Stick the grown man attire homey…

so they wont speak on the issue but they will snag a photo opportunity to appear as if they care.. I remember when the incident first jumped off… Jay Z went on a full blown twitter rant… about Tidal.

    • RapItUp

I mean.. did you stop working when that happened, drop all your daily duties, and reach out to the family? Did you protest? (And if you did, did you drop what you were doing to protest, right away?) Why do people feel like entertainers, especially of Jay and Bey’s caliber, have ALLLLLLL the time in the world to attend to these social matters. They either A) waited until the smoke died down, to not be tied in with the rest of the media shxt storm (as if they need any help getting additional coverage) or B) waited until they had time in their schedule, their CONTRACTUALLY OBLIGATORY schedules. Come on b! I feel you though, but seriously. Don’t be like the rest of the sheep, Jay and them got lives too, and the fact they made their way out there says volumes. We don’t know what they did to help those families during that meeting, etc. And just because you don’t hear about it doesn’t mean it didn’t happen. Who knows. Just, … don’t think like you did up there. It’s very primitive and restrictive.

one long excuse bro. not saying I disagree with your overall message, but in this case you givin pretty much all celebs a pass….most people with smart phones have all their social media outlets on their phone like fb and twitter. so to say Jay “didnt have time” to post or at least have someone else post on his social pages anything about the incident is unreasonable. That literally takes like 10 mintues. He can do that whle sitting in a limo or something. Oh but he DOES have time to do what pretty much amounts to a photo op? glad he showed up for the family, but i would hope he did more than that

Lol I know, it’s all subjective.. we’re just on the outside looking in. We could all take 5-10 minutes and call our cousins and aunties and tell them we love them, but how often do we do that? I don’t want to make excuses for this guy.. I’d just rather weigh out all the scenarios than to assume he just didn’t have the gall to step up. But that too, is very much an option. “If skills sold, truth be told, lyrically, I’d be Talib Kweli” lol I know that’s about lyrics and flow, but I think he operates w/ his business/social acumen under the same guise. From the outside looking in.

I know he was asked his opinion and he said no comment…. why stay neutral? Either you’re for police brutality or against it… Im sure if you were asked, you’d give your opinion….

      • RapItUp

True, but if I gave my opinion, it wouldn’t be up for global debate, deterring possible business deals, etc. and so forth. Not that any of these reasons make it right, but it would happen. It’s something one in the public eye has to worry about. This isn’t Kevin Gates or Trinidad James we’re talking about here. Judging from multiple dialogue/music, it’s clear his position on such occurrences aren’t neutral. I don’t know, it’s a tough call..

Just another photo op bullshit for this fake ass couple. They did the same shit after George Zimmerman was acquitted of shooting Trayvon Martin.

Somebody shot at George Zimmerman, don’t know the detail, caught the last part of a news flash.

The glass from the window, that why they say minor, the bullet miss him tho.

“My baby got killed by the po-po, but it’s all good, ’cause I gots me a pic with Jay and Yoncé, girl! How’s my hurr look?”

  6. WeakSauce

What was the purpose of this and why wait so long after the fact? They wanted to feel better about them selves? Did you bring them back back from the dead? I mean what was the purpose of this?! Fake ass couple just trying to get more exposure for Tidal! Get the F out of here with that ishhh!!!

  7. Big_Chill

Another photo op, man real shit not hating, but if our wealthy brothers and sisters really cared and wanted to give back, how about building schools, or supporting brothers like Umar Johnson who is still trying to secure funds for his school, why can’t we put our time, energy, and resources to building the youth, instead of thinking they only need to be validated by Europeons.

    • jazzoh

simple no more cashflow, they would be ostracized. No longer welcome……the quickest way to get shutdown, out even killed is to attempt to provide any meaningful help or support to black or brown people. As you stated, Umar Johnson is STILL looking for funding for his school.
