Kid Rock Tells Confederate Flag Protesters To “Kiss My Ass”

Kid Rock Rebels Against Confederate Blacklash…

It is now difficult to remember that Kid Rock once had a relationship with African Americans when h was a rapper.

Now, the Detroit native has taken to vehemently reject those protesting his continued use of the Confederate flag, which was formally taken down in South Carolina this week. Other states and retailers have discontinued use as well.

Earlier in the week, the National Action Network’s Michigan chapter protested outside the Detroit Historical Museum and demand the now-rocker discontinue use of the Confederate flag. Kid Rock offered the following message delivered through Fox News: “Please tell the people who are protesting to kiss my ass/Ask me some questions.”

According to published reports, Rock has moved to Alabama and become friends with conservative radicals like Ted Nugnet and toured with “Southern Pride” acts like Lynyrd Skynyrd, who also loves the Confederate flag.

There is a permanent exhibit at the Historical Museum, The Kid Rock Music Lab, that celebrates Kid Rock’s musical contributions and makes no reference to the flag at all.

”The Kid Rock Music Lab is one of 10 permanent exhibitions at the Detroit Historical Museum,” the museum said to WXYZ. “Kid Rock’s contribution to Detroit’s music history is significant and warrants his inclusion along with other key figures like Stevie Wonder, Bob Seger, Aretha Franklin and Eminem. There are no displays of the Confederate flag in the Kid Rock Music Lab or anywhere else inside the Detroit Historical Museum.”
