Ja Rule tells Charlamagne Tha God he won the first round of the beef between him and 50! Is that what happened Ja? If we were to “give” the first round to delusional Ja Rule, he still lost the war. He was holding up late 04′ early 05′ “w/ that feature known as “I’m from NY” but 05-15………… You took multiple Meek’s (formerly known as L’s)

    • Inmadopicouroz✓QUEENSᵛᵉʳᶦᶠᶦᵉᵈ

yeah but why is your light skin azz hating? Fall back sucka nicca! You would get bodied coming to QUEENS even getting Ja’s face.

Venni, Vetti, Vecci , was a banger If im not mistaking the joint went Double Platinum. The lead single (HOLLA,HOLLA) went platinum guess what? It didn’t ft. a singer on the hook.

You cant lose to snitching. Isnt no L when your competitor choose to act like a sour girlfriend telling your business.

I feel like not a lot of people paid attention to the post-50 Ja tracks… Last Temptation, Blood in My Eye (these are albums), and the various freestyles aimed at Shady/Aftermath.. Ja and his buddies brought some heat. Ja, can actually rap! I think people forget that he was in the *edit cYphers w/ Jay & DMX.. Ja can spit! and he was bringing some heat to 50, but 50 had the machine working, overtime…

    • Brindle

Stop that, I’ve heard Ja spit some OK verses in those cyphers but his CAREER was based off his pre-Drake image, singing with out a singing voice etc… 50 on the other hand had a classic album and Ja never in his history recorded a song better than 50’s “backdown” which was a diss at him… this was no machine working, like Drake and Meek with the unknowing non-hiphop fans and industry siding with Drake and Meeks wackness solidifying it… in Ja’s case, the true hiphop fans decided and the white kids waited for the decision and made their money follow……

      • RapItUp

Lol I feel you bruh.. All I’m saying.. just peep a few tracks where Ja was going at their camp.. That diss he did over the ‘Made You Look’ beat.. I mean, people just ignored some definite flames! “Em, your mom is a crackhead, and Kim is a known slxt, so what’s Hailie gon’ be when she grows up?? MURDAAAAA!!” lol he ripped that beat up, and those bars in particular caused a bit of controversy. Blood in my eye was a full 50 diss album, I ain’t gonna lie. The hip-hop in me made me check it out. I wasn’t disappointed..

      • Brindle

I remember the Em, line… guess my thing with Ja, is he was too comfortable going pop… he tried to bring it back but it was too late, he lost the momentum…

      • RapItUp

Lol he did HELLA feel comfy going pop though.. I ain’t gonna lie. they made for good radio jams, I would have rather him stuck w/ the darker persona though.. in that regard, yes, he got mopped. Ja did get physical w/ 50 a few times though, not a lot of rappers can say the same. (that’s not on video where it’s just one sided and painful to watch)

      • Brindle

they say on may of the physical sh!ts, 50 came out losing

      • RapItUp

50 got Buck stabbing nxggas on camera, tossing Gunplay around like a dryer sheet that got caught on somebody’s antenna on the freeway, and proverbial back and forth’s with any mainstream, notable artist you can name.. but Ja been in a few confirmed scuffles w/ 50 (out of both of their mouths) and nobody can really say the same in the game. (They both will tell you a different story, so that’s not up for debate) I just think Ja took too hard of a fall when 50 dropped, and I feel a lot of his fanbase pulled a ‘Meek’ on him.

Ha, isn’t it funny how Ja seems to favor with the street side of the Meek beef in terms of public appeal (downhill) and Drake, the soft-y, has the crowd in a 50-like daze? lol

      • Dubz

All rappers go pop if they want the money…50 went pop..that nigga released Candy Shop for crying out loud…smh

      • Brindle

see I don’t look at that as pop, I look at it as a popular song but not necessarily pop music… if that makes since…

      • mr morgan

Blood in my eye was dope, First Ja album I ever bought, in my opinion 50 was built off of hype, Get rich or die trying was a classic album but he was sittin on it for years before it even came out, all Dre and Em had to do was polish it up a bit, I agree with U Ja did have some strong disses

      • RapItUp

Don’t know many people that heard that album. Salute to you bruh.. It WAS a dope album, and if the price on itunes dropped a bit (I think it’s at a solid 10 bucks) I’d give Ja a nod.. lol he had some nice tracks on there. I think Last Temptation was my first purchase (less Ashanti crooning, Nas had come to Murder Inc, sorta, briefly, lol, and solid production) BIME was the same story, but waaaay less ‘pop’ tracks.. Clapback wasn’t even tip of the iceberg!

    • EDUBBz161

i don’t think anybody ignored Ja responses, if u was a real hip hop head at that time u looked out for those kind of tracks. i think bottom line fifty was hungry and his career was just taking off. Fifty was relentless. and those two tracks Ja mentioned in the video above was not the official album tracks in fact i don’t think how to rob was even on get rich or die trying. but either way it was a David(50) vs. Goliath (Ja) type situation as far as careers go at that time.

    • WIWYCB

didn’t he do some jail time? im not exactly what for, but i believe he was. therefore, that explains the gap in his career, NOT 50 apparently LOL

      • JerZeBoy

yeah not 15yrs in jail though, he didnt murder anyone…lol

    • 1Fly_A$$_N!gg@

He was the hottest out from 98-04 hands down, it’s dark and hell is hot is a classic and flesh of my flesh blood of my blood was hard 2

      • Inmadopicouroz✓QUEENSᵛᵉʳᶦᶠᶦᵉᵈ

2 albums in 1 year (1998) i remember that too. I remember only because I was sick and ran to the bathroom at a shop/building and i puked up something bad i ate/drank. Turns out their was some wigga mexican in their and he looked at me all funny and said some slick sh*t about me puking. So i punched the ni((a and took both those CDs and left his head phones and cd player (already had one).

      • 1Fly_A$$_N!gg@

Lmao yeah i was in the 8th grade that was my shit he was hot then thats right about the time belly came out 2

  4. Dominoatchu

This dude is really living in his old glory days….yes Ja u were hot for a min but dude came along and released an on slaught of diss tracks and u never recovered from it. Now it’s like he’s trying to piggy back this drake vs meek and constantly bring up him an 50. Leave well enough alone pimpin an go about ur day

  5. WeakSauce

    • Inmadopicouroz✓QUEENSᵛᵉʳᶦᶠᶦᵉᵈ

Ja turned them lights out and entered the room with his niccas and blades. that was the only round he ever won.

  7. Two-Inch Killa

let’sbe real50 lost the street war cause what happened to ja rule physically 50 murdered him lyrically but ja rule cudda had him murdered literally

  8. Dutch Masta Rillo

damn yall be late wit the news. lmfao. i thought i was coming to see something from today or yesterday. . . i already watched this last friday night. c’mon ahh. yall lookin like meek right now

  9. Dutch Masta Rillo

obviously most of you didnt watch the whole segment. ja didnt just bring this shit up on the show. . . he was asked a series of questions leading to this conversation. as well as any other interview. lol cut the man some slack

  10. Markus

50’s ears are sensitive so if he takes this as disrespect, i rather he respond on social media than on a record. I don’t think either one of these dudes can bring it anymore.

  11. jeffrey Jones

50 got stabbed and filed for a restraining order. That realer than releasing some funny disstracks. As much as I dislike Ja Rules crap music, on a street level they won. 50 is a snitch, say what you like. And without the Dre machination he would be nowhere.

  12. Wardell B

Everyone keep forgetting Ja Rule and Irv Gotti were under investigation by the Feds, that 50 cent snitch on to put Supreme away. I will give the edge to Ja Rule. 50 cent was a rat and still a rat. At the end of the day. 50 cent career was a standstill.

ja maybe got in a good punch but he didnt win not one single solitary round on the mic with 50.i was getting them mixtape disses off limewire some shit i was like damn i can t wait for the next one for real.

  14. MadVillain

    let it go Ja
even with the few decent disses he put out 50 & Em were just relentless
i’ll admit he saved a bit of face when Black Child stabbed 50 in that studio fight

  15. Poseidon

Clinically undiagnosed delusions of grandeur can lead to unhealthy levels of self-importance which in turn can create high levels of career derailment.

Sorry, Ja. It’s too late for you now…..

  16. gasandman

really! at this point why would Ja be lying. his career is already ruined as everyone thinks. all of yall is just on 50’s nuts so yall believe everything this clown says. Ask the boss aka ricky ross about 50. oh yeah and the sucker gotta pay ross xwife 7m’s. what a clown!
