Rising Baltimore Rapper Lor Scoota Shot And Killed In Broad Daylight

R.I.P. TO BALTIMORE RAPPER LOR SCOOTA

(AllHipHop News) Rising Baltimore rapper Lor Scoota was shot and killed in broad daylight in Baltimore yesterday (June 25).

According to local news reports, the rapper was driving on Moravia Road, when a shooter stepped into the street and fired upon the car.

Bystanders captured the shooting, where Lor Scoota, born Tyriece Watson, can be seen being pulled from what appears to be a late model Audi.

Lor Scoota was taken to the hospital in critical condition, but eventually succumbed to his wounds.

The 23-year-old had just hosted a charity basketball event at Morgan State called “Touch the People Pray for Peace in These Streets.”

“I am saddened to hear about the senseless murder of (Tyriece) ‘Lor Scoota’ Watson,” said local Councilman Nick J. Mosby, whose wife is Baltimore City’s State Attorney Marilyn James Mosby.

“He had a heart for youth and took the time out of his schedule to join me on my #EyeAmBaltimore Tour to high schools in West Baltimore following last year’s uprising where he spoke about the importance of staying in school,” Councilman Nick J. Mosby added.

Police are looking a suspect in the shooting, who was seen wearing a white bandanna and fleeing from the scene.
