Seattle Rapper XP Talks Macklemore, New Album “Chasing Grace”

Seattle emcee XP is preparing to release his third solo album Chasing Grace. The new LP will feature guest apperanances from Prince Po and Aesop
Rock.

Chasing Grace is the third album from the Washington native, which shows XP transforming from a child in 21st century America, which leads to burning questioning about his own religion and the broader world around him.

XP cut his teeth touring around the world with close confidant, Macklemore, who featured XP on three songs from his 2005 album The Language of My World.

“There are a lot of haters out there,” XP said. “But I’m forever grateful for all the opportunity he’s given me and I highly respect his talents. It’s just people expect that I have it easy or I didn’t work to get where I
am.”

Production on Chasing Grace, which is due in stores August 19, is handled by Ryan Lewis, Bean1 and Smokem2D6.
