  1. You smoke crack, don'tcha!?

    Anyone who supports “Empire” supports the black feminist agenda, which is a thinly veiled, offshoot of the white supremacist agenda, designed to emasculate and effeminize black men, and glorify the “strong independent woman” façade that keeps the conveyer belt of illegitimate babies, moving from the projects, to the prisons…

    Watch the chessboard…So after they destroyed Cosby, in the same swoop they trashed the legacy of The Cosby Show (America’s #1 show which brought dignity and wholesomeness to the face of African-American programming) by disrupting its syndication, which means less residual money for the Cosby actors. With low income from Cosby, Phylicia Rashad is now reduced to taking a job on Empire, which is basically the anti-Cosby Show. This is how TPTB reverse the consciousness of a generation. One step forward, two steps back!

      Bruh, she’s not reduced to having to take any ‘ol role …… check her resume. Just because you don’t hear about her doesn’t mean she’s not working or hurting for cash.

      • Q.

        It doesn’t mean she’s not hurting for cash either. This move to the anti-Cosby Show seems suspect, desperate even–if not for money, then for attention.

        Trust, she’s not hurting. 1st cause she’s been working since the show went off … stage, small screen, and big screen. Not to mention, she does some directing too. And she has seen more work after the show than everyone on it

        2nd Cosby setup their deals nicely so their residuals were sweet. So, from around ’89, ’90 they started getting checks (no residuals until a show hits 5 seasons) so, they been seeing checks for over 20 years

        True, but as I said in the original post, The Cosby Show syndication got screwed because of the scandal. Empire is a bad look for “Claire Huxtable.” Very bandwagon-ish.

        This won’t even put a scratch on her stellar reputation

      • Q.

        Ha! That’ll depend on the caliber of role she’ll play on Empire. If it’s anything remotely ratchet, it’s an L. But joining the show in itself is suspect. Just remember:

        Empire = The ANTI-Cosby Show
