Taxstone’s DNA Reportedly Found On Gun Used In Troy Ave Shooting

(AllHipHop News) Daryl “Taxstone” Campbell was taken into custody on Monday in connection with the shooting which left Brooklyn rapper Roland “Troy Ave” Collins injured and his bodyguard Ronald “Banga” McPhatter dead.

According to the New York Times, Taxstone’s DNA was found on the gun used in the violent Irving Plaza encounter from last year.

The evidence was apparently discovered on the 9-millimeter Kel-Tec semi-automatic handgun’s trigger, hand grip, and magazine.

Taxstone was reportedly seen on video in the green room with Troy Ave and McPhatter prior to the gunfire breaking out.

DNA from Troy Ave was also detected on the firearm.

The “Bang Bang” rhymer is on video firing shots inside the venue, but Troy insists he was acting in self-defense.

Taxstone had been involved in a feud with Troy Ave, and the New York Police Department believes Taxstone publicly threatened Troy before the shooting.

“Man, I don’t know what happened with that situation,” said Taxstone last June about the Irving Plaza incident.

The popular Tax Season podcast host and social media personality was arrested on federal weapons possession charges.

Taxstone is expected to be formally arraigned this week.

He previously served time in state prison for attempted weapons possession and attempted robbery.

Damn I really had hope that tax would stay out of trouble and making something with his 2nd chance at life. I wish him the best. Shame we can’t all live in peace and just get money and be successful.

His main agenda in life is to cause beef, divide and hate amongst his own people. Why would you think he would change? He is a piece of sh*t as a person. His aura is foul. Nothing about him is a good person. He goes on peoples Instagram pages for years calling them names and they don’t even know him. He brought this all upon himself. The energy he put out is what he got back. He didn’t want money and peace apparently. He is not like a master p, a Nas or someone doing great things in life.

lol I don’t believe his main agenda is to cause beef or division. But I applaud dude for getting out of jail and making a name for himself and making money to provide for his family. I’ll never celebrate a man downfall but I do recognize his accomplishments. I don’t agree with everything he says or do but I’m still wishing him the best.

….and on the flipside Troy betta recognize the energy he’s put out has gotten him shot twice in one year! Lessons everywhere…

Well, seems like Troy is off the hook for at least the attempted murder and the snitching accusation if this alleged evidence is real…

They supposedly traced the murder weapon from Florida to tax’s associate and even referenced his past social media threats to troy ave. Lawyers once again making a killing defending these clown ni**as from justice and their own stupidity plus that other shooter who is sweating now.

Yeah basically Tax is F**ked in the game right about now. As you indicated Troy maintains his street cred. From the jump Troy said he was defending himself and his boy. I think they said someone shot Banga then Troy wrestled the gun from that person….
With Tax’s DNA being on the gun is bad enough, but the article says his DNA is on the magazine, which means he loaded the weapon. He’s up stuff-creek without a paddle…

New York Police Department believes Taxstone publicly threatened Troy before the shooting. << wonder now if they will see it as self defence an not charge troy.

Troy still ain’t out of the clear…he fired wild shots in a crowded bar with a random getting hit maybe he won’t get hit with the most serious charge but they win’t going to just let him walk either.
