Donald Trump Tweets About “Jail Time” In Response To Snoop Dogg’s Music Video

THE POTUS FIRES BACK AT SNOOP

(AllHipHop News) It was only a matter of time before Donald Trump took to Twitter to share his thoughts on Snoop Dogg’s controversial new visuals.

This morning the president posted a tweet directly mentioning Snoop.

“Can you imagine what the outcry would be if [Snoop Dogg], failing career and all, had aimed and fired the gun at President Obama? Jail time!” wrote Trump.

Snoop has faced some backlash for his “Lavender” music video by BADBADNOTGOOD which includes the Hip Hop artist firing a prop gun at a man dressed like Trump wearing clown makeup.

Trump’s lawyer, Michael Cohen, called on Snoop to apologize for depicting an “assassination attempt” on the President of the United States.

“I’m not really sure I understand the artistic value having someone dressed up as Trump and firing a weapon at him,” stated Cohen.

Fellow rap stars Ice-T and Treach offered a defense of Snoop.

“It’s basically him saying everybody’s a clown, including Trump, which I think we all agree. The part where he points the gun at the president is against the law. You gotta know that,” Ice-T says into a camera. “You can’t kill the president. But I think he pushed the line.”

Treach added, “It was a confetti gun. When he shoots everything out, nobody got shot. Confetti came out. It’s artistic.”

Snoop Dogg joins the Hamilton cast, the Saturday Night Live cast, Meryl Streep, Arnold Schwarzenegger, and other “so-called ‘A’ list celebrities” on the list of famous critics to get a Twitter reaction from the POTUS.
