Nate Dogg’s Son Arrested On Felony Drug Charges

NATE DOGG’S SON IS IN DEEP TROUBLE

(AllHipHop News) Nate Dogg’s son was arrested on April 5 for selling Xanax.

The allegations against Naijiel Hale were levied after he was arrested with a football cohort named Darren Gardenhire and another student Christopher Flanagan.

The 21-year-old son of the legendary Hip-Hop singer was charged with a misdemeanor count of possession of dangerous drugs and two counts of felony distribution of dangerous drugs. The felonies carry a maximum sentence of life in prison, according to published reports.

Hale and his co-defendants are students at Montana State and were arrested as a part of a large drug sting by the Missouri River Drug Task Force. An informant allegedly set up a deal to buy Xanax from Hale. Hale then directed the informant to meet with Gardenhire. Gardenhire allegedly completed the transaction, as investigators watched. In an interview, Gardenhire told authorities that Hale was the actual dealer.

In another situation, another deal happened without Hale selling directly to the undercover operative, even though the alleged transaction happened in Hale’s house. Another person allegedly delivered the drugs.

In a search, authorities only found a small amount of marijuana. However, a search of Flanagan’s home turned up 355 Xanax pills, about 19 grams of mushrooms, LSD and other related items. Flanagan reportedly confessed to his role in dealing Xanax.

Hale’s bond is set at $25,000.
