Daily Word: Everyday Is Your Birthday!!

Happy Tuesday, my Lovers of Life!

Welcome to the day you realize how blessed and highly favored you really are. Today’s Daily Word is dedicated to reflecting and moving onward! Thirty-two years ago from today, my mother gave birth to her final child: a baby boy, who most people told her she was crazy for even having… See, my mom was an older woman, struggling to get by when she decided to give birth to me, so not only were there economic disadvantages of having another child, but the risks were life threatening as well.

Needless to say, 32 years later, I give thanks everyday to my mom and her courage, for giving my life a chance! Each year around this time, I reflect on the good and the bad, and realize how far I came and how much further I have to go! They say hindsight is 20/20, so make sure that as you live your life, you are treating everyday like your birthday! Always reflect on where you’ve been, how you got there, and where you want to go!

Many times, we complain and wish things would be different, but I guarantee if you would just put your whole life into perspective, you would realize how blessed you really are. Everyday is
a bonus, so the fact that you are still here is a clear indication that you have purpose! Never take for granted the precious gift of life that you were given! Many people are not afforded the opportunities that you have readily at your disposal! Don’t let your gifts go to waste! Take full advantage of your life and maximize your potential!
