She’s gonna have to sit down under oath and answer questions about the whole $20K custom wig situation with Thee Bella Brand, which means her touring schedule and studio time are about to take a serious hit.
According to court documents obtained by TMZ, the deposition is locked in for September, and she can’t reschedule or send someone else to handle it. This is the real deal.
The company’s been pushing hard on this case since 2025, claiming Ice Spice signed a contract for 25 custom-made wigs valued at around $20,000, but never paid up, then went on social media talking trash about the brand.
Thee Bella Brand is seeking over $400,000 in damages, and they’re not backing down.
Ice Spice has been pushing back on the allegations, describing the whole thing as a contractual disagreement rather than a breach.
But the court doesn’t care about her version of events right now. The legal machinery is moving forward, and she’s got to show up and answer questions under oath.
The company’s attorney, Justin Mungai, made it clear where he stands, saying, “This is what entitlement looks like. Fame is not immunity from the law. Ice Spice will be held accountable.”
The court set a January 2027 deadline for discovery, which means both sides are gathering evidence and building their cases right now.
There’s also a settlement conference scheduled that could resolve this before it goes to trial, but only if both sides can reach an agreement.
For now, Ice Spice is stuck in legal limbo, and that September deposition is gonna force her to deal with this head-on instead of just ignoring it.
