The publication spoke to Franklin during her 72nd birthday celebration in New York over the weekend. The iconic songstress also shared that Babyface is attached to the work along with 3K.

Franklin previously worked with another Grammy winning Hip Hop star. Her 1998 single “A Rose Is Still a Rose” was written and produced by Lauryn Hill. The Queen of Soul also teamed with the Queen of Hip Hop Soul Mary J. Blige for “Never Gonna Break My Faith.”
