(AllHipHop News) Seminal Hip Hop group De La Soul is back with a new mixtape. The legendary act connected with BitTorrent to release the Smell the DA.I.S.Y bundle. The project features classic De La Soul lyrics over vintage J Dilla production.
As part of the continuation of BitTorrent’s “Mixtape 2.0” culture, the Smell the DA.I.S.Y package includes 11 music tracks, an audio letter, the Still Shinning J Dilla documentary, and wallpaper.

“This project means a lot to De La Soul. It’s real important to them to uphold the legacy of J Dilla. He meant so much to the group,” states Brandon Hixon, De La Soul’s marketing manager.
BitTorrent previously partnered with Jet Life to release several projects from the label including Mary Gold’s Sex Hormone’d Druggie and Curren$y’s The Drive In Theatre.
