(AllHipHop News) Mack Maine and Lord Jamar agree on something involving racism…to an extent. Earlier today, Mack Maine relayed the message of YMCMB’s continued support of Justin Bieber, even after the recent appearance of racist videos.
In an interview with TMZ, Maine reasons that Beiber has “legitimately adopted the culture of the hip hop, African American culture.” To further justify Young Money/Cash Money Records continued relationship with Beiber, Maine remembers his own childhood racism:
I remember telling a white man, Chinese man, Black man joke as a kid that was terrible and I told it to my friends because I thought they’d think it was funny.
Maine stated that most of Bieber’s friends are Black and he “does not have a slave mentality. He treats his people with respect.”
Days before the racist tapes surfaced, Lil Wayne was videotaped spewing inflammatory remarks towards Justin Bieber’s longtime manager, Scooter Braun. In defense of Lil Twist, Wayne stated “I heard that they got a b*tch a*s ni–a named Scooter that be runnin’ with my little brother Justin Bieber.”
