Beyonce’s younger sister Solange turned 26 over the weekend, and her brother-in-law Jay Z and big sis were on hand to make sure Solo had a birthday to remember. First, Beyonce surprised Solange with a helicopter ride over London, that compelled Solange to share a photo of the adventure with her Instagram followers along with the message, “We are family.”
Then, according to the Daily Mirror, at the stroke of midnight, Jay-Z gathered Beyonce, Kanye West, and Rihanna backstage at his BBC Radio 1 Hackney show and led a chorus of ‘Happy Birthday.’ Jigga presented Solange with a cake and champagne and the singer was reportedly really moved by the gesture.
”It was really sweet. Solange hadn’t even noticed that it had turned 12am when Jay got everybody singing together. She was really touched.”
The birthday celebration was a nice way to end a rumored dramatic day for Jay and Bey. According to reports, Beyonce was upset by a ‘fan’ during Jay-Z and Kanye’s performance when the ‘fan’ allegedly began harrasing her and talking badly about her baby girl, Blue Ivy.
A source said, “Whatever was said, it really upset Beyoncé. Jay-Z’s bodyguards weren’t going to have any of it. They waded in and there was a massive ruckus. It got pretty ugly and Beyoncé was whisked away so she wouldn’t get caught in the middle of it.”
That ish cray! Happy belated birthday, Solange!
I don’t know how Andewale Akinnuoye (Adebisi from “Oz”) or Djimon Hounsou will feel about this, but it looks like there is a new candidate for the role of the Black Panther. Now, I don’t mean the militant Civil Rights group of the 60s and even now. I mean the Marvel Comics character from the fictitious African Nation Wakanda. Well, freakin’ Romeo Miller has tossed his hat in the fray as one of the candidates that may play in the live action movie if it ever gets green-lit.
He told some things to BlackFilm.com:
With Marvel possibly doing a film on the Black Panther, is that a role you can see yourself doing?
RM: I would love to. I remember that before Jumping the Broom got released, there were some producers were talking about shopping the script to some people and I was one of the people they contacted and was asked if it was something I would be interested in. You never know. I definitely want to take in and be the next big action hero. That may be something that’s cool.
For the record, the Black Panther is tentative for 2014. For the record, I won’t see a Black Panther with Lil Romeo. No hate. No disrespect. We’ll see.
Happy Wins-Day, my creatures of Righteousness!
Welcome to the day you begin to set your life straight towards the right path! Lauryn Hill once exclaimed, “How you gonna win if you ain’t right within!” These words, which most don’t realize the significance, are a statement that will help you on your quest to happiness and success!
It is IMPOSSIBLE to be happy or fulfilled when you are battling with demons daily! This isn’t about being a saint, nor is it about being perfect! It is about doing what in your heart you believe is the right thing to do!! Those who go against their beliefs will be forever haunted by the
consequences of their actions! No money or social acceptance should ever take the place of what you truly believe in!
We all know that if you don’t stand for something, you will fall for anything, but in that same vain, it is better to live truth instead of just professing it!! Make it right and follow your heart!! It will always lead you down the best path!!

(AllHipHop News) An official studio collaboration between Jay-Z and singer Sade could take place in the near future.
During an interview with Jay-Z’s blog site Life + Times, Sade revealed her desire to work with one of the world’s top rap artists.
The legendary singer said that missing the opportunity to record with Jay-Z in 2010, was one of her biggest regrets.
“I would have asked Jay-Z to rap on ‘Soldier Of Love’ in 2010. There’s not much else I would change – the mistakes I’ve made have made me grow braver,” Sade said.
Despite numerous requests from rappers, Jay-Z is the only rap artist to officially appear on a track with Sade.
The rap mogul was featured on the remix to the single “The Moon and The Sky,”which was released as a bonus track on 2011’s album The Ultimate Collection.
But just because she has not worked with rap artist in the past, does not mean she does not respect the genre, which has sampled her music often, throughout the years.
“I love when our music is reclaimed to make something new,” Sade continued. “It’s like musical recycling. I always see it as a compliment.”

The UCLA football team sure is interested in celebrity kids these days, aren’t they? The Division 1 school, fresh off of awarding a scholarship to Diddy’s son, Justin Combs, has just offered a similar scholarship to rap legend Snoop Dogg’s son, Cordell Broadus.
Despite only being 15-year-old and merely a sophomore at Diamond Bar High School, Broadus has played football all of his life and is already 6-foot-2 and 185 pounds. UCLA coach Jim Mora says he offered the scholarship to Cordell because of his skills on the field.
If Cordell accepts the offer, he will suit up next to Diddy’s son Justin in the year 2015, and the two will likely play together for three years.
Well, Snoop is a notorious fan of the USC football program, so who knows what advice he will give his son. We’re just glad to see another rap star’s son heading to college!
(AllHipHop News) After a nearly four-year absence from music, LL Cool J has begun working on his upcoming thirteenth studio album. LL revealed the news at a press conference for My Connect Studio last week. “I’m going to be doing a little bit of the album on the [My Connect Studio], make sure that it is official,” he told XXL.
“It’s authentic Hip-Hop, it’s the business…it’s 2012, so it doesn’t sound like it would sound if it were 10 years ago or 20 years ago, but it’s definitely official. It’s a breath of fresh air. It doesn’t sound like anything that’s out right now. I think it’s crazy. It’s the business. It’s real.” His digital partnership with the My Connect Studio software allows “two people to collaborate on music real time despite their location.” This, of course, will be used by LL to record a portion of his new album.

That’s all I’m saying.”
Romeo, who added that he would love to have a career similar to Will Smith has already starred in a number of films and television shows like Jumping the Broom, the upcoming Madea’s Witness Protection and Romeo, which aired on Nickelodeon from 2003 to 2006. Following up on his comments about Catching Fire, Romeo told MTV News, “We just had a meeting, seeing if it was something I was interested in. I can’t really talk too much, or they’ll kill me. You know how The Hunger Games is.”
