Well, I know Trey Songz is livid about the bi-sexuality rumors that are running rampant in these streets like a dime store h#####! Well, I am getting some very solid intel that is getting me closer to the truth over this matter. Remember I told you that Trey had gotten some new management to take him from singer to super star? You know where this is going… The old management is looking to get some getback from lil buddy for dumping them. Rumor has it, they have pushed these bi-sexuality rumors to the blogs to defame and destroy Trey’s good standing with the ladies. This way, when he sings about “inventing sex,” women think he’s really thinking “I invented man-sex.” But, my sources tell me that Trey’s previous managers were into some shady business and Trey had to do it. This isn’t fact, so I don’t know. I will say this…from what I understand Trey had been with his previous managers for a LONG time and they got him thus far.
BOBBY VALENTINO IN DC
I know Bobby V has been flying very low lately, but I heard of a recent sighting of the dude. Yeah, one of the AHH staff was down in Washington DC and gave me a heads up that Bobby V was down in the city that Obama runs shooting a new video with a group called LikeBlood. I can’t even lie…I was like, “What the hell is a LikeBlood?” Well the group is a local group that has a regional hit called “Money Over Here.” And, guess what? They were shooting a video for that song. I heard the ladies were OUT there for these guys at the video shoot and looking pretty delectable. Nice! Anyway, the video is going to be coming to a site near you. Luckily, that’s AllHipHop. LOL!
MAURY, HERE’S A REAL GOOD ONE!
My people over at GossipOnThis has exclusively learned that actress Tisha Campbell-Martins sister (and allegedly Diamond Blue from Pretty Rickys baby mama) Tiara gave birth to a baby girl Sunday night (Jan 24), about 4 months shy of her original due date. Her sister Toya reached out to us and gave us all of the details, saying that stress caused Tiara to develop a condition related to high blood pressure, which forced doctors to go in and take the baby out in order to save both her and the baby. Man, these dudes were supposed to redo my site illseed.com and I got dissed! HELP! No more shoutouts, son! That’s it!

SWIZZ BEATZ AND ALICIA MARRIED?
Sounds like the rumors around Swizz and Alicia are true…are they really engaged?
Here is what US is saying:
Alicia Keys had a lot to smile about on her 29th birthday Jan. 25: an engagement ring from her producer beau, Swizz Beatz!
A pal tells UsMagazine.com that Beatz, 31 (who is currently divorcing wife Mashonda), proposed with a 7-carat sparkler right before her big day; the happy couple were photographed strolling on a Hawaii beach the day of the proposal, Jan. 24.
Keys’ rep denies she is engaged, but another friend reveals, “They are currently in Hawaii celebrating the engagement and her birthday. She feels blessed.”
Adds the pal: “She is thrilled. She is with the man who has inspired so much of her music and her new album [The Element of Freedom].”
Swizz is equally smitten with Keys.
“What we have is so precious,” he gushed to the New York Daily News last year.
ILLSEED’S QUICKIES
Mystikal reportedly wants to help get C-Murder out of jail. Mystie better focus on getting his life back together.
Taylor Swift secretly wants to be a rapper. LOL! She’s really twisting the knife into Kanye.
Both the FBI and the NAACP are now involved in the beating of the Black violist by those crooked cops!
Chuck D has just released a full album dedicated to Haiti. Here is the link to get it.
I hate how rumors get started. Here is one that is wrong. The rumor about Brett Favre and Tiger’s wife is false. Brett and his wife Deanna own a house where tiger is in sex rehab. Tiger’s wife is staying there with them and she’s actually supporting him through everything.
EPIC FAIL AND EPIC WIN OF THE DAY
The Apple iPad is dope, but the name has people snickering about it being really good for a woman during those special days. It is for this reason that I call it an epic fail! Now, I know I am probably going to get some hate from the Mac freaks, but I’m gonna say it! That name sounds like something for menstruation! On the flip side, the device is crazy ill and it has already destroyed the Kindle. Damn, Kindle, you just got ethered in one day. Steve is on his job! Anyway, we thought the iPad was going to be called the iSlate, but NOT.
SIGNS THE WORLD IS COMING TO AN END
This dude used to write for ESPN until he decided it was OK to blog about the following:
Dear Haitians
First of all, kudos on developing the poorest country in the Western Hemisphere. Your commitment to human rights, infrastructure, and birth control should be applauded.
As we prepare to assist you in this difficult time, a polite request: If its possible, could you not re-build your island home in the image of its predecessor? Could you not resort to the creation of flimsy shanty- and shack-towns? And could some of you maybe use a condom once in a while?
Sincerely,
The Rest of the World
He is now in the land of the unemployed. What an idiot.
WHAT SET PINK OFF?
Back after the Taylor Swift mess, she gave Beyonce a lot of props and even called her “Classy.” Now B is a “stupid girl?” Really, Pink?
SHAWTY LO AND LIL WAYNE ON THE SET OF “WTF”
RACIST ESPN GUY, WE LOVE YOU!!!
They keep us talking, but if we stop talking about them then they should worry!

Our thoughts and prayers continue to go out to Haiti this week as the country moves forward in the aftermath of devastating earthquakes. At number one this week is Hope for Haiti Now, a compilation album featuring a slew of musical artists. Everyone, from Alicia Keys and Neil Young to Jay-Z and Taylor Swift, is featured on the album whose proceeds are going completely to the Clinton Bush Haiti Fund, Oxfam America, Partners in Health, the Red Cross, UNICEF, the United Nations World Food Programme, and the Yele Haiti Foundation. The compilation comes in this week at number one selling 173,000 copies.
Now, here at ChartWatch we mainly focus on Hip Hop so lets look at how rap music sold this week. There (sadly) is only one Hip Hop representative in the top ten and if you have ever read this column then you know how I feel about them. The Black Eyed Peas continue to sell their brand of Pop Hop to the masses with their latest album, The E.N.D, selling 35,000 copies and grabbing the number eight spot. This album really will not die.
You know what else? That Ke$ha chick (the one from the Flo Rida album if you dont know check the last column) is at number nine. She raps (and I say that in the loosest sense of the word) so Im gonna put her in the column. Why? Because we had a chance to stop Flo Rida. We could have shut him off. But did we? No. And from Flo Rida came Ke$ha. Now I have to hear a valley girl rapping about P. Diddy and Jack Daniels. Ok. Rant over.
Congratulations to the New Orleans Saints as their team heads to the Superbowl. New Orleans native Lil Wayne ought to be happy about that as well as the continued sales of his labels compilation album. We Are Young Money sells another 18,000 copies which helps them take the number 23 spot this week.
They are followed by the man to whom Lil Wayne aspires to be. Rap musics big CEO/Rapper, Jay-Z, sells another 14,300 copies of The Blueprint 3 and claims the number thirtieth spot.
Directly behind him in the thirty-first spot Eminem whose Relapse album sells another 14,000 copies.
Gucci Manes The State vs. Radric Davis continues its slow burn in sales moving 10,900 copies this week and claiming the thirty-ninth spot.
Last up in the top fifty is Long Beach representative Snoop Dogg. If you get a chance listen to the remix for I Wanna Rock featuring Snoop and a bunch of rappers. His latest album, Malice N Wonderland, sells 9,000 copies and takes the forty-ninth spot.
Dropping This Week
Anyone know who Stoney Jackson is? He is an actor known for his work in The White Shadow and 227 along with a major appearance as a gang member in Michael Jacksons Beat It video. Dude was also in CB4. (I know a lot of yall dont know The White Shadow but please say yall remember 227. You know the show with Jackee Hary? Ok, you might know her as the mom on Sister, Sister but she used to be fine…annoying voice but fine.) Well, if anyone knows what Stoney is up to give a call to Strong Arm Steady because theyre looking for him. The Los Angeles group has trimmed down from a quartet to a trio since Xzibit left the group in 2006, but while losing a member the group gained a recording contract. Mitchy Slick, Phil Da Agony, and Krondon signed with Talib Kwelis Blacksmith Records in 2007. The trio now releases In Search of Stoney Jackson whose production is helmed completely by the Madlib. The album features Planet Asia, Fashawn, Phonte, Tri-State, Guilty Simpson, and, of course, Talib Kweli to name a few. Good group. Probably a good album. Plus it has one of those interesting covers that I like so much.
I always have a weird feeling about best of albums because they usually signify one of two things. First, the artist is trying to fulfill some recording contract obligation so he or she just throws one out there to make a quota. The artist may even put a really good song in the collection so true fans will purchase the new disc even though they already have all the songs. Thats why you get artist at the top of a short, but successful run, dropping a greatest hit for seemingly no reason. Its like if Drake came out with a Best of album right now. Ok, maybe not Drake but you get the point.
Then theres the second category. The We-here-at-the-record-company-have-no-chance-(or in some cases desire)-to-work-with-the-artist-but-we-still-have-some-leftover-music-so-lets-put-out-and-album category. I think the last two albums in Dropping come from this second category. Def Jam releases The Very Best of DMX this week along with Sony Legacy which drops The Very Best of KRS-One. Im never big on best of albums. Especially when true fans know that these albums rarely contain the best of material from the artist. That is unless youre talking about the best of Skee-Lo. (Initially, I was saying this as a joke but upon further inspection, ah-hem Wikipedia, Skee-Lo is working on a comeback. Skee-Lo?! Dude has a discography. Who knew? ) In my opinion if you want to get the best of DMX go pick up Flesh of my Flesh, Blood of my Blood or Its Dark and Hell Is Hot. Now to limit KRS-One to one disc is a difficult task seeing as the MC has put out 21 albums (when you count the work with Boogie Down Productions) and has helped to shape Hip Hop as we know it today. Sony does a decent job of picking out some classics but those Hip hop fans that are not in the know should dig deeper. Just scratch the surface of KRSs career and youll find where some of your favorite rappers got their lines. So go out and find some music because to be fan of Hip Hop and not know the classics is like suicide, its a suicide. (If you didnt get this reference then go pick up The Very Best of KRS-One).

(AllHipHop News) Pimpin Ken has taken less than 48 hours to respond to a viral diss from rival and American Pimp co-star Payroll the Pimp (Lorence Hammond).
In the previous clip, Payroll derided Kens merits in the street and music industry, and continued taunting famous rapper Ice-T for his marriage to model Coco.
According to Payroll, he boasted that he had $10,000 which would be used to steal away Coco from her husband.
Ken first defended his friend Ice-T, questioning why a pimp would proudly proclaim his intentions to spend excess money on a woman.
I’ve been in pimp game 35 years; I can tell if a n***a has a pimp bone in his body. The n***a saying Ice-T ain’t got a pimp bone, is the same n***a telling Ice-T he got $10,000 to trick with, said an incredulous Ken in an interview with Hood Box Office.
Since his appearance in the Hughes Brothers documentary American Pimp, Pimpin Ken has become a fixture in the Hip-Hop community.
In the last decade, Ken has appeared on tracks with 50 Cent, Too $hort, Pastor Troy, Mack 10, Lil Jon, and the late Pimp C, in addition to writing Pimpology: The 48 Laws of the Game with author Karen Hunter.
For Ken, the new pimp game is the music industry and online media, which he praised Ice-T for thriving in independently.
Ice-T is a good n***a. We all want to get to the point where we can pimp on another level, were we can pimp these folks for hundreds of millions of dollars, Ken detailed. If a m########### can get someone on his album and help him sell 100,000 albums at $10, that’s a million dollars the man, whatever he’s doing, as long as he’s breaking something, is pimping in my eyes.
Ken also clarified his definition of pimping by issuing a strong warning to those considering an actual career in pimping, which is completely illegal.
That archaic old style of pimping, talking about having a b***h on the track jail that’s where you’re gonna be, these folks ain’t playing.
At press time, Ice-T has not commented on either video clip.

(AllHipHop News) Lawyers for controversial reggae star Buju Banton claim that the government set the Jamaican artist up, by using a paid informant.
According to court documents filed on Tuesday (January 26), Bantons high powered defense attorneys David Markus Marc and David Seitles claimed that the government entrapped the singer, because the informant pressured Buju to purchase the cocaine.
Markus is pushing to have the informants identity revealed, because his credibility or lack thereof, could send Buju Banton for the rest of his life.
The singer allegedly met the informant on a flight from Madrid, Spain to Miami, Florid, in July of 2009.
The informant allegedly spent the next three months trying to purchase the cocaine.
In addition to refusing to disclose the identity, the government has refused to identify the prior cases in which he has been involved, the outcomes of those cases, the amount of money he has earned making cases for the government, or even the amount he has been paid (or expects to be paid) in this case,” the court papers read.
Buju Banton, born Mark Myrie, was arrested on December 10 and charged with conspiring to buy more than five kilograms of cocaine from an undercover law enforcement officer, and possession of a firearm during the course of illegal activity.
Although he was not present in the warehouse that was used in the sting operation when the others were arrested, the DEA claims they have audio and videotaped evidence of Buju Banton testing a package of cocaine.
Buju Banton has pleaded not guilty to all charges and is being held in Pinellas County Jail in Tampa, Florida, without bail.
His trial begins in March.
(AllHipHop News) Philadelphia rapper Cassidy has revealed plans to release his first album since 2007s release B.A.R.S. (The Barry Adrian Reese Story).
The new album is titled C.A.S.H., which stands for Cass Always Stays Hard or Cass Always a Straight Hustler.
Cassidy told MTV.coms Mixtape Daily that the first single will feature a big name artist, but before that single drops, he will release a street record titled Face to Face, and a new mixtape titled Apply Pressure 2.
They say it’s a recession. I call my album C.A.S.H. because everybody needs money, Cassidy told MTVs Mixtape Daily. I feel as though everybody that’s a fan of hip-hop or a fan of music period, they need to come and support artists like me, because you gonna see hip-hop fall off the map, like other forms of music, if you don’t.
Although he’s no longer signed to producer Swizz Beatz, Full Surface imprint, the pair still have a cordial relationship.
As the first artist signed to the label, Cassidy and Swizz produced hits and club anthems like Hotel featuring R.Kelly, Im a Hustla and My Drink N My Two Step while dropping albums like Split Personality (2004), Im a Hustla (2005) and his most recent, B.A.R.S. (2007).
Cassidy’s C.A.S.H. album will be released through his own imprint Larsiny Entertainment, with distribution through E1.
In November of 2008, Cassidy inked a deal with NBA star Carmelo Anthonys Krossover Entertainment, which is backing the Philly rappers latest album.
(AllHipHop News) Former Aftermath artist Bishop Lamont has revealed plans for his upcoming label Diocese Records, in addition to his future plans.
Bishop Lamonts frustration with the constant delays of his own album, while he was signed to Dr. Dres Aftermath Records.
Additionally, he grew tired of seeing other West Coast artists like Jay Rock, Glasses Malone and Nipsey Hussle languish on the shelf.
According to Bishop Lamont, in addition to the 700 tracks of his own that he was allowed to take when he left Aftermath, his new label will house everything from rap to jazz, alternative rock, country and R&B.
“Artists would come to me when I was at Aftermath and I told them that their best bet was to avoid signing with a major, Bishop Lamont told the Los Angeles Times. “They thought I was hating but the labels want to give you 360 degree deals and take all of your publishing and your merchandise and publishing. If an artist sells 40,000 copies on their own their rich. If they sell 40,000 on a major, they get dropped.
Bishop Lamont has a number of projects on the horizon including his album The Reformation, as well as a mix tape titled The Shawshank Redemption with Bink and DJ Drama.
