Lil Wayne Releases New Date for Dedication 4 Mixtape

(AllHipHop News) New Orleans-bred Cash Money/Young Money CEO Lil Wayne recently took to Twitter to announce the long-awaited release date for the fourth installment in his dedication series.

Dedication 4 will release on August 30, nearly two weeks after the previously anticipated release date of August 15.

As an ode to fellow rapper 2 Chainz, Lil’ Wayne decided to push the date back on his project to give fans a chance to get 2 Chainz effort Based On A T.R.U. Story.

In a viral video released last week, Lil Wayne explained that he hasn’t been as focused on music, as he has been focused on skating and other activities.

“I ain’t finished that mother—er. I’ve been skating and sh–, falling and sh– and all that type of sh–, but I’ll give it to you like, next week. Stop trippin’ pimp,” Lil Wayne told fans on his “Dedikation Update.”

No official tracklist has been revealed for the project yet.
