Directed by Ryan Jordan Thomas, Chance The Rapper-collaborator eGo Jaleel unloads the official music video for his 2020 release “Fontana.”
The small screen interpretation of The 25th Hour-produced song finds the Windy City wordsmith rotating an assortment of Black love interests, all hoping to be his priority partner.
Speaking on the record, eGo states,
“Either it happens then I write it or I write it then it happens. No other way. This time, it happened. Fontana is really about realizing your worth.”
Adam Freeman B.K.A. eGo Jaleel was born and raised in Chicago by his grandparents, who adopted him after his parents went absent. To cope with feelings of abandonment and the harsh realities of growing up in the chaotic city, he began to express himself through music.
