Sean Delaney, a music artist from New York, wants to ‘impact the world’ with his lyric ability. Sean has been making music since he was a kid and he owes it all to his dad – “without him, I would have never woken up on the weekends listening to classic rock and becoming completely consumed with amazing music. He put me on to so much and because of that, I became a very eclectic and versatile artist. I am a true lyrical chameleon and I can adapt to any type of instrumental. It gives me great skill when it comes to working on different types of songs”.
Sean is an independent artist working under his own label, Rock Your Weird Ent. and the owner of his own clothing brand, Sincerely Dedicated Co. He is a Jack of all trades, and he does it all for his family. Sean is a loving father and husband who grinds day in and day out for his family.
Sean’s hardest obstacle in the music industry has been “watching the transition of Hip Hop over the years. With it once being about lyrical content it now is more about the beat or a song that has no true substance. It is sad that the real version of Hip Hop had to take a backseat to this new style. Don’t get me wrong there is a lot of really dope music out there now but some of it just doesn’t belong in the same room with what is considered real, raw hip hop. I think that is the worst thing that I had to watch”.
Sean is working on his third mixtape for his Wonder Years series dropping in August, as well as his Heart Of A Lion album that is coming soon as well. The album will consist of 12 classic songs, his most accomplished album to date.
