(AllHipHop News) Much of the boxing world has been focused on possibly seeing Floyd Mayweather and Manny Pacquiao finally face off in the ring this year. As the head of SMS Promotions, 50 Cent is deeply connected to prize fighting, and of course the ever outspoken Queens native has an opinion about what could be the biggest bout in years.

“That’s not going to happen… You heard me say it on film. It’s not going to happen,” 50 told Tech Buffalo. “What you wanna fight Pac-Man under those circumstances? When you can pick anybody you want to. Cause we wanna see the toughest fight?”
When questioned about a Mayweather-Pacquiao fight being part of boxing history, 50 focused on his sometimes public foe’s undefeated record as more historic than the chance of losing to Pac.
“Later when they look at his actual record and look at what he’s done, they’re still gonna have to say, ‘Who do you think could have beat him if it would have happened this way?'” 50 stated. “You know those imaginary games like what would it be like if Jordan played Kobe all at one time. Who would be better? It would be one of those conversations.”
Pacquiao said in a recent interview with Huffington Post Live that he agreed to all terms and the only thing standing in the way of the highly anticipated fight is Mayweather signing the contract. It has been speculated that Mayweather could make as much as $150 million off the bout.
