A slew of drug charges against D4L group member Fabo were recently dropped, after a co-defendant pled guilty to the charges in the case. Fabo, born Lafabaian Williams, was stopped in Laurens County in February of 2006. A search of the car uncovered marijuana, Ecstasy and a gun. According to the Courier Herald, both men were charged with possession of marijuana, possession of Ecstasy, possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime, carrying a concealed weapon and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon. The local District Attorney’s office decided not to pursue the charges against Fabo when his co-defendant, Curtis. Alfonso, Watkins Jr., pled guilty to all charges. Watkins was sentenced to 15 years probation and $3,700 court costs and fines. D4L is best known for their 2006 #1 hit “Laffy Taffy.”
