Drake may be one of the hottest rappers, but the Canadian sensation’s upcoming album has been pushed back.
The rapper made the announcement, but didn’t offer a new date.
“Well I’m making great progress on it. I’m hoping for March now. It’s just pulling everybody together,” he told MTV News.
The opus, titled Thank Me Later, was slated to drop to drop in January of 2010 and then February 14, Valentine’s Day.
The album features Jay-Z, Kanye West, Lil Wayne and Drake hopes to collaborate with Sade, the reclusive singer who drops on February 14.
“I had a wish list for my managers of everybody I wanted involved that stem beyond hip-hop. I’m trying to pull it all together. I’m really trying to work with Sade,” Drake said. “Lil Wayne will be on it. Young Jeezy, Jay-Z, Kanye will be doing work on it. It’s in the family.”
