(AllHipHop News) Foxy Brown’s brother/former manager Gavin Marchand appeared in court yesterday to plead not guilty to identity theft charges, but was rearrested on the spot afterwards. According to the New York Daily News, Marchand pleaded not guilty after he was caught with three associates at designer store Hermes, using a forged American Express card. The men allegedly attempted to buy $7,882 worth of merchandise from the upscale store, but undercover officers doing surveillance foiled their scheme. The men then allegedly led police on a high speed chase, hitting speeds of up to 90-MPH in Manhattan, before being busted. Prosecutors offered Marchand a plea deal and prison sentence of 3 1/2 – 7 years, which he rejected. Yesterday (September 16th) in court, after Marchand pleaded not guilty to the charges, he was rearrested on more Grand Larceny charges. Marchand, 35, faces up to 15 years in prison on the original identity theft charges. In related news, Gavin Marchand’s sister Inga “Foxy Brown” Marchand appears to be staying out of trouble after several incidents in June. Foxy gave a surprise performance at Jamison Ernest’s Incubator fashion show and thanked her lawyers and Russell Simmons for giving her a break.
