Freeway Posts Inspirational Message From Hospital

(AllHipHop News) Philadelphia rapper Freeway spent a portion of his holiday season in the hospital.

Early this morning, Free posted a picture of himself in a medical center, hooked up a bunch of dialysis machines.

Even though he was in the hospital, Freeway posted a message of inspiration to his 227,000 followers on Instagram.

“Don’t give up. There are too many naysayers out there who will try to discourage you. Don’t listen to them. The only one who can make you give you is yourself,” Freeway shared.

The 37-year-old rap star has kidney disease, and is currently waiting for a transplant. The rapper must undergo four-hour dialysis treatments, three times a week.

Freeway, who is currently shooting a documentary chronicling his experience, released his latest album Free Will in April.
