The call girl that New York Governor Eliot Spitzer has been accused of patronizing may be trading in her day- job for a career as a R&B/Hip-Hop singer.
Ashley Alexandra Dupre, aka “Kristen,” has recorded several songs, including “What We Want” and “Move Ya Body.”
On the Hip-Hop themed single “Move Ya Body” the 22-year-old Dupre raps:
“Do you wanna take me out after the club/You gotta do it right baby show me some love/Sex, money drugs is what I’m all about/Step your game up so you can see for yourself..”
According her website, Dupre’s musical inspirations range from Frank Sinatra and Aretha Franklin to Lauryn Hill, Mariah Carey and Mary J. Blige.
Dupre is accused of having a rendezvous with Spitzer at the Mayflower Hotel in Washington, DC , as recent as February 13.
Four people have been charged with operating the Emperor’s Club V.I.P., which catered to rich and powerful individuals.
Gov. Eliot Spitzer was forced to resign yesterday (March 12) as result of the scandal, becoming the first New York governor to resign in almost 100 years.
Lt. Gov. David A. Paterson will replace him. Paterson is the third African-American governor since Reconstruction (1865-1877).
