(AllHipHop News) British rap star Stormzy is taking over an English theme park to celebrate his birthday
Last month the 22-year-old musician, real name Michael Omari, messaged staff at England’s Thorpe Park requesting to take over the attraction so he could fill it with friends and his most devoted fans.
And bosses at the park have agreed to shut down the park for Stormzy, who is one of the biggest names in U.K. grime music, on his birthday.
“You know how I wanted to go Thorpe Park for my birthday? Well I’ve managed to get the whole damn park to myself,” the rapper tweeted.
A message from the park’s official Twitter account confirmed, “It’s official – @Stormzy1 is throwing his birthday bash at THORPE PARK Resort! Follow him for more info!”
The “Shut Up” singer is running a competition via his Twitter account to win the chance to attend the birthday bash.
Done! Winners will be announced tomorrow! Around 50,000 of you entered 😳😅, can't flipping wait. Good luck 🙏 #StormzyBirthdayBash

The party ends a remarkable year for the star, who saw his track “Shut Up” storm the U.K. chart, making it into the top 10.
He also earned plaudits from established British stars including Lily Allen and Adele.
Stormzy’s visit to an Adele gig saw the soul superstar dedicate her song “Make You Feel My Love” to the young rapper and declare herself a “big fan” of his music in a hand written note in his concert program.
