Police Save Kurtis Blow’s Life After Pioneering Rapper Has Heart Attack

(AllHipHop News) Pioneering rapper Kurtis Blow is recovering, after he suffered from a massive heart attack earlier this week.

Kurtis Blow was arguing with his son at a bus stop in Woodland Hills.

The cops were called to the scene, and when they arrived, Kurtis Blow collapsed in front of them.

Now, Kurtis Blow is crediting three officers for saving his life and said the incident goes to that not all police are bad.

The police saved my life, a Black man. In this day and age, people need to hear that!” he said in a statement.

If it weren’t for the actions of Officers Chris Vege, Calvin Hill and Pete Parra, Kurtis Blow said he would be dead right now.

“They got there so fast. If they got there any later, I would have died,” Kurtis Blow said. “I want to thank the officers from the bottom of my heart, no pun intended,” he said.

The news comes on the heels of Kurtis Blow’s recent deal with Unified Signal to launch Hip Hop Global Mobile which provide wireless and mobile wallet services to Hip-Hop lovers.
