Grammy nominated rapper Paper Boy was arrested on drug charges for the second time on Wednesday (March 19).
According to police, they stopped the rapper for driving with a broken rear brake light.
When officers approached and noticed the odor of marijuana emanating from Paper Boy’s 1994 Mark VIII, they searched the car and found less than an ounce of marijuana as well as a bottle of prescription medication that was not in his name.
According to the Fresno Bee, Paperboy, born Mitchell Charles Johnson, was charged with misdemeanor possession of marijuana, illegal prescription medication and driving with a suspended license.
The 35-year-old rapper, who is best known for his 1993 hit single “Ditty,” was released after posting $10,000 bail.
In October, Papeboy pleaded no contest to one felony count of marijuana possession for sale, after police stopped him and found less than an ounce on him as well.
In that incident, the rapper was sentenced to three years felony probation, as well as fines.
