Boosie Badazz admits he doesn't own 100% of his music

Peace y'all it's your boy Johnny Fastlane here with AllHipHop.com. So Boosie says that Rod Wave

decided not to pay him once he found out that Boosie doesn't own all of his music. Let's talk

hip hop. Aight yo this situation is crazy right because Boosie yesterday was on Instagram live

and he basically said that he doesn't own all of his music so that's why Rod Wave decided not to

pay him right. So y'all know the whole situation man earlier this month Rod Wave dropped a new

song called Long Journey right. The whole situation is he didn't really sample Boosie

but he used some of Boosie's lyrics from his song from 2010's Long Journey with Webby right

The whole situation is Boosie saw it said yo I need to get paid I need to get paid you sampled

my voice you taking food out of my kids mouth right. Rod Wave responded to him and said yo

I will pull up on you I will pay you you ain't gotta try to sue me don't do all of that right

It's crazy because Rod Wave grew up listening to Boosie right but I guess Rod Wave did his research

and upon further investigation he found out that Boosie doesn't own all of his music right. So why

would Rod Wave pay Boosie for something that Boosie don't own Rod Wave is going to pay whoever owns

the song right. So anyway Boosie went on Instagram live yesterday to talk about the whole situation

right. Boosie on Instagram live did admit that he does not own 100% of the song but he owns a

percentage of the song right. He says the percentage he owns is in the writer's credit and of course

the publishing right. So what he's saying is that on Rod Wave's long journey he should at least get

writer's credit for that and a portion of the publishing for that right. I mean because of that

that's why he's mad at Rod Wave right. The whole situation is crazy Boosie was just kind of laughing

he didn't seem as angry or upset as he was before but he was just kind of talking very casually and

being like we're gonna get the business figured out right. I mean at the end of the day hopefully

they do and maybe Rod Wave will just give him a little something because yeah okay I used your

voice or your lyrics but really y'all own this shit bro so I don't really gotta give you nothing

right and that's why Boosie didn't even know that Rod Wave was gonna sample his song in the first

place because it's not like Rod Wave had to holler at Boosie for permission. He was hollering at
