L.A. Reid gets sued for assault

So, L.A. Reid gets sued for assault. Let's talk hip-hop. Aight yo, this situation is crazy, right? Because L.A. Reid is being sued by a woman in New York

for sexual assault, right? She alleges that she used to work with him back with Arister Records

man, and that in 2001, on, it happened twice she said, on two occasions, but she details one

occasion where they were coming back to New York from like a business trip with a bunch of people

and that somehow he like groped her, kissed her, and then penetrated her as well on the way back

from that trip, right? This is the same woman that back about six years ago in 2017, she also said

that Russell Simmons did something really similar to her as well and basically she said that it's

sort of like a power dynamic, right? These guys have the power, they're gatekeepers, you can either

do what they want you to do, have sex with me, or I'm just going to be really mean to you tomorrow

and of course blackball you to where you will not climb in the industry, right? That's basically what

she says, so right now she's trying to get her bread from L.A. Reid as well, right? L.A. Reid

actually saw this and he responded to the allegations with a statement, right? So L.A. Reid

says, I'm proud of my track record, promoting, supporting, and uplifting women at every company

I've ever run. Not that notwithstanding, if I have ever said anything capable of being misinterpreted

I apologize unreservedly, right? So he is apologizing for whatever he feels may have

been taken out of context, but I mean penetration cannot be taken out of context, right? So we'll
