Lil Wayne reacts to Uncle Bob's passing

So, sadly, the cop who saved Lil Wayne's life has passed away

Let's talk hip-hop. Peace y'all, it's your boy Johnny Fastlane here. So this situation is crazy, man

So this cop, his name is Robert Hubler, has passed away, right

And if y'all don't know Robert Hubler, he is the cop that saved Lil Wayne's life

back when Lil Wayne was 11 years old when he shot himself, right

So if you are a Lil Wayne fan or you know Lil Wayne, then you know about Robert Hubler, a.k.a. Uncle Bob

is how Lil Wayne affectionately refers to him as, right? The whole situation, man, is that he was only 65 years old

Uncle Bob, and he passed away, right, of natural causes, right? The whole situation, as y'all know

back when little wayne was 11 years old um he tried to commit suicide so he shot himself in the

chest with the gun that he had found um and then when the cops got to the house the cops were just

running through the house looking for drugs guns whatever um just stepping over this 11 year old

kid who was bloody and dying in the middle of the floor um and the only cop that really cared about the kid was you was this cop that saved Lil Wayne life at the time He was one of the sergeants started yelling at everybody

telling them to pick up Lil Wayne. He went to the hospital with Wayne

sat there with Wayne, made sure he was okay. And from that day on

Lil Wayne has had love for that cop. Turns out Lil Wayne grew up to be

a super huge hip hop star, right? So it was crazy as hell because indirectly

if it wasn't for this cop, we would have a lot less things in the culture itself, right

So the whole situation is sad. But, you know, now he is with his wife

So actually Lil Wayne went on his Instagram and he put out a statement about Uncle Bob, right

So he says, everything happens for a reason. I was dying when I met you at this very spot

You refused to let me die. everything that doesn't happen doesn't happen for a reason that reason being you and faith r.i.p

uncle bob aunt katie has been waiting for you i'll love and miss you both and i will live for us all

is what little wayne said right um so you know r.i.p to uncle bob um and my heart and prayers go out to
