Snoop Dogg supports the Writers Guild of America's strike

I chose this situation is pretty crazy, right? Because as you guys know in Hollywood, the writers are striking the Writers Guild of America

So anybody who falls under that umbrella, they are not writing for movies TV shows or anything anymore, right

So Saturday Night Live has been canceled because they are live and it comes on every Saturday

So these are the first people to be affected right? I'm Snoop Dogg smoke spoke out about it, right

He actually is the owner of death row now And as you guys know

He took all death rows music off the streaming platforms as soon as he became the owner

The reason why is because he said that the artists weren't getting paid

So he had to renegotiate paperwork and then he did we upload all death rows music so that the artists could get paid to right

Same situation So, of course now a lot of things are switching from just like regular TV and network TV to just straight

Streaming on like HBO Max. Hey, here's a new series or streaming on Netflix

Here's a new series or here's a new movie. Sometimes it might not even hit the movie theater

It'll go straight to like Peacock or whatever. I'm and still do huge numbers, right

Um, but because of that yeah the production company gets paid and the actors get paid but the

Writers of the scripts of these movies and TV shows are not getting paid because they have found loopholes

Since now there's more bucks coming from streaming versus hard ticket sales in the box office or just watching it on TV and getting ratings

Plus commercials, right? I'm so because of that the Writers Guild of America

They have told all their writers to go on strike because they want more money and more respect for their hard work, right

I'm Snoop Dogg compares it to hip-hop That's the same gripe that rappers are having right now whereas, you know artists they're putting out music they're doing huge numbers

They're getting huge streams Millions of billions of streams but only seeing pennies to the dollar for that and that the record labels keeping most of the money, right

I'm so it even kind of sounded like Snoop Dogg said maybe rappers needs going straight down, but we will see about that
