Remy Martin has dropped rapper T.I. as a spokesperson and brand ambassador. According to Rap Radar, T.I. will no longer be representing the brand, after being sentenced to 11 months in prison for violating the terms of his probation, for attempting purchase machine guns and silencers in 2007. “Regrettably, we will not be able to continue collaborating with T.I. at this time,” Remy Martin said in a statement. “We wish T.I. well and hope he will devote his time and energy to staying the course.” T.I. also recently lost an endorsement deal with AXE Body Spray. In related news, T.I. has revealed that he has changed the name of his upcoming album from King Uncaged to No Mercy. The rapper appeared on the Ricky Smiley Morning Show on Monday (October 25th) and made the announcement. Additionally, T.I. said that he was hoping to drop an album before he starts his 11 month prison sentence, although no official release date was available for No Mercy. Representatives for Bone Thugs-N-Harmony have come forward to clarify earlier reports about Krayzie Bone’s status with the group. Over the summer, it was speculated that Krayzie was leaving the group due to inner-turmoil. The rumors seemed to be confirmed when Krayzie announced the launch of a new label,The Life Entertainment. Last week, a press release issued about the group made no mention of Krayzie. Representatives for the group have confirmed with AllHipHop.com that Krayzie Bone is still a member of Bone Thugs and was left out of the press release inadvertently. Krayzie, Wish, Layzie and Flesh-N-Bone are currently recording a new album, in addition to working on an untitled book project. Legendary Hip-Hop band Public Enemy will perform in Moscow, Russia tonight (October 26th). The legendary group will hit the stage at the B1 Arena with popular opening act, rapper Noggano. According to reports, Public Enemy’s performance in Moscow tonight is the group’s first gig there since 2003 and only the second time P.E. has visited the country. The Moscow performance is part of the group’s whirlwind tour of Europe. Tomorrow, Chuck D. and company will be in Bulgaria, before heading to dates in Poland, Germany and the Czech Republic. The group’s tour continues in November, with dates lined up in Switzerland, Austria, Italy, the Netherlands, Belgium and France. (AllHipHop News) Newark, New Jersey Mayor Corey Booker is among the defendants named in a $21 million dollar lawsuit filed over the Sundance Channel’s documentary, Brick City. According to a lawsuit filed in United States District Court of New Jersey by Everett Adam Jackson, the series, which was executive produced by filmmaker Forrest Whitaker, infringes upon the “Brick City” trademark that he has owned for years. The Peabody-Award winning, five-part documentary series was directed by Mark Benjamin and Marc Levin and captures local residents improving the conditions of Newark, New Jersey, which was plagued by almost 50 years of violence, poverty and corruption. In the five one-hour episodes, which premiered in September of 2009, the lives of Mayor Booker and Police Director Garry McCarthy intertwine with a Bloods gang member -turned youth counselor named Jayda and her boyfriend Creep, who happens to be a Crip.Jackson, who is a certified English teacher in the state of New Jersey, claims his book “Brick City” was published in 1991. The author claims that fact makes him the oldest, legal owner of the name “Brick City” and also alleges that the documentary borrowed substantial portions from his book for their narrative.As a result of the infringement, Jackson is seeking a total of $21,325,828 from Mayor Booker, Forest Whitaker and The Sundance Channel.

(AllHipHop News) A Cudahy, California, night club is suing a company purporting to represent rapper Snoop Dogg, after losing over $40,000 for a show that never happened. The lawsuit, which was filed October 22nd in the Central District of California, claims a company ominously named One Blood/Red Eye Entertainment approached El Potrero Night Club and represented itself as a reputable booking agency that was negotiating concerts on Snoop’s behalf. Around August 27th, Potrero executed the contract and wired $20,000 to secure the rapper for an exclusive date. Problems arose, however, when Potrero attempted to promote the concert on Los Angeles’ Hip-Hop station, Power 106. Reps for Power 106 questioned the date and told Potrero that the contracts the club had signed were fake. One Blood/Redeye representatives claimed that they were simply going around Snoop’s managers to avoid extra fees. On September 15th, Potrero sent the remaining $20,000 to book the rapper. When it was time to perform, representatives for Redeye informed the club that Snoop Dogg was not in the city and would not be performing. As a result, Potrero is seeking $100,000 for Breach of Contract, fees, expenses and lost profits.Snoop Dogg is not named in the lawsuit.
