Hip-Hop Rumors: Nicki Minaj Drops Diddy? Kat Stacks Beat Up Again?

Man, Nicki Minaj is ABOUT HER BIZ! She straight switches up with no regard at all! LOL! Diddy is the latest person to hit the chopping block, as he was a manager. Here is the statement.. I don’t know where this came from, so it may still be a rumor…it reads a bit funny to me.

“By now, everyone should now that I am really strict when it comes to my representation. I had sympathy for Sean however I feel as if I haven’t gotten the guidance the manager is supposed to give his client. Personally, I feel like I’m being managed by mother. Even if you play the smallest role on my team, I wish to see progress. I’d like to thank him for everything he has done for me; for taking me under his wing. I wish him the best with repping Rick. But now that my album is about to drop, its time to get serious and stop playing games. If I could turn back time…I wouldn’t have made the decision to let Troy go.”

So, now she’s allegedly rocking with Benny Medina…the man behind J. Lo, Mariah Carey and even Will Smith.

Pause for Will.

She also recently announced a tour supporting Pink Friday.

KAT STACKS GETS BEAT UP AGAIN

I suspect Kat Stacks getting beat up is like 50 Cent getting shot…she’s coming back stronger. But, I have to mention it, because it truly deserves documentation. Well, I don’t stalk Kat Stacks, but I found out some information on her that you may already know. First off, her real name is Audrea Herrera and she was born on 3-9-89, but her correctional officer is probably about to wish her Happy Birthday, because he thinks her bornday is November 2, 1989. Why is this important? Well, apparently, she got beat up in Indianapolis. She told people that she was at least 21 to get in the club there. When she got beat up, they took her ID and it said March. But there was a discrepancy. Anyway, somebody is in trouble for serving somebody under 21 liquor. Somebody named Unki Boi ran her out of the club there. Not sure if that means beat her up, but people are definitely telling me somebody put hands on Stacks. Here is what she said via Twitter, “” I’m a trackstar … didnt yall know? what type of b***h can run as fast as me and dodge bottles in HEELS?”

DIDDY AND NICKI, WE LOVE YOU! They keep us talking, but if we stop talking about them then they should worry!

Pioneering Hip-Hop Group The Fat Boys Talk ‘Unsung’ Premiere

(AllHipHop News) Pioneering Hip-Hop group The Fat Boys will be the subject of tonight’s episode of TVOne’s critically acclaimed series, Unsung. The series, which launched in 2008, features one-hour biography specials that celebrate the lives and careers of a variety of accomplished artists or groups who deserved – but didn’t make – the transition to superstardom.”The Fat Boys was such an amazing stepping stone for me to catapult myself into the production world and radio world,” Prince Markie Dee told AllHipHop.com. “It was an amazing part of my life. That’s enough for me, I really do this from my heart and I am so happy they did this for my man Buff.” The Fat Boys, who hailed from Brooklyn, New York, were one of the first internationally known Hip-Hop groups. Their self-titled 1984 debut is considered a classic among Hip-Hop aficionados. The group, which featured Prince Markie Dee, Kool Rock Ski,  Rockski and Buffie aka the “Human Beat Box,” blazed a trail for today’s Hip-Hop artists. In addition to their first two albums going gold (The Fats Boys, The Fat Boys Are Back!), The Fat Boys landed some of rap’s earliest endorsement deals (Swatch, 1984), while starring in flicks like Disorderlies which featured legendary actor Ralph Bellamy and making appearances on TV shows like Miami Vice. Tragically, group member Buff died of a heart attack brought on from his complications from his own weight, which was around 450 pounds at the time of his death in December of 1995. “At the end of the day, all I care about is that my dude Buff gets his recognition. All these years have gone by since he’s passed away and he’s hardly ever mentions, honored or anything like that and it hurts me. He was such a good person and he deserved more. At the end, it shows what an amazing person Buff was,” Prince Markie Dee told AllHipHop.com.The episode of Unsung is told through a number of artists and executives, including the group’s first manager, Swiss-born producer, rapper Kurtis Blow, Biz Markie, Charles Stettler and their current manager, Louis “Uncle Louie” Gregory. “I always told Markie Dee it would come around one day, but I wasn’t really stressing it,” Kool Rock Ski told AllHipHop.com. “As long as the people who were there with us from day one know about the impact we had on hip-hop, that’s all that really matters. We appreciate TVOne for recognizing us and wanting us to do this.”Unsung featuring The Fat Boys premieres tonight at 10:00 PM EST on TVOne.

GLC Talks Kanye West & Illuminati Rumors

AllHipHop.com: That’s dope. What are your thoughts on the whole Illuminati thing? Do you believe it’s real? GLC: I believe that the Illuminati is one percent of the human population that controls I believe it’s either 60 or 80 percent of the world’s wealth and at the end of the day, it’s kind of crazy because back in the 90’s we were talking about the Illuminati and no one would have ever imagined that in 2010 people would be saying the Illuminati is rappers. Like the Illuminati…those are like multi-billionaire people that are rich as hell and have more money than countries and sh*t and I don’t know no rappers that’s doing it like that, you know? It’s just kind of crazy. If it’s real, it is…all I can say is I don’t know but I could say that when it seems like people are less fortunate than others, people always have a reason for why that person has it and they don’t. You know when you’re less fortunate and you see somebody balling, you want to come up with all sorts of crazy ways and things that person had to do in order to obtain that. I know that people were saying that Kanye is a part of the Illuminati and he sacrificed his mom and all this type of crazy s**t…he loved his mom. He wouldn’t sacrifice his mom! That’s f*cking crazy! Aside from that…this is why I know it’s a fine example: from the time he was 12 years old to the time he got on, he made beats every day. Sort of like Michael Jordan…every day he went to the gym. When everyone else was out, he was working on his game. But just because he’s so good at what he does, “Aw man he has to be the Illuminati!” I think people just need to spend more time focusing on what they can do to make their lives better as opposed to focusing on why somebody has something and they don’t. GLC – “To A Gangster”

AllHipHop.com: I like the way you put that! GLC:

You feel me? Like same way you being a woman and you working for AllHipHop, it’s probably people like aw man, she got to be f*cking this person” or she did that or she did that…why can’t you just be good as hell at what you do? AllHipHop.com:

Right! GLC:

And it’s kind of f***ed up like, I don’t want to say it’s targeted towards black people but it’s like out on the internet and someone’s like, “man, you see that Illuminati s**t?!” and they’ll be like “yea I seen it” or “nah I didn’t see it” but “man I know this sh*t real!” “Why is it real?” “Because it’s on the internet!” You know what I’m saying?

AllHipHop.com:

As we wrap this up, you have any last words you want the readers to know?

GLC:

I want people to be able to hit me up on Facebook, GLCITYMUSIC. You can also find me on my website which is GLCITYMUSIC.com. And you can find me on Twitter.com/GLCTHEISM. And on YouTube it’s MRGLC87. And I’d just like to say shout out to the great city of Chicago, the west coast and up top and everybody that’s just been showing love to a young player. Album in stores now. Church.

GLC: Gangsta’s Paradise

Chicago rapper GLC has quite the resume. He’s been on two of Kanye West’s albums, he’s done over 70 features just this year with the likes of Bun B, Kid Cudi and more. He managed to secure a first-of-its-kind distribution deal with EMI/Capitol Records. And miraculously even got Bruce Springsteen himself to clear a sample for his album, something “The Boss” has never done in the past. But with all of these accomplishments, GLC, who was one of the first rappers on Kanye’s G.O.O.D. Music imprint, has been noticeably absent from Ye’s recent GOOD Friday music leaks. GLC checks in with AllHipHop to give an update on the latest and give some insight on his love, life and loyalty. Church. AllHipHop.com: While major hip hop heads and definitely followers of Kanye know who you are and know your story, there are some that just kind of know your name, know you rap, but they don’t really know who you are. To those people that ask, who’s GLC? GLC: GLC is the ism, baby. I am the church. I am the proclamation of my prosperity. You know an O.G. hustler from Chicago and I handle my business. AllHipHop.com: You received notoriety because Kanye placed you on his first album, but before that, how’d you get into rapping? GLC: I started rapping because I was looking up to the rappers. You know they had money, they had cars, they had women, they had gold chains and I lived in the ghetto. At the time, they was everything. Like you can get those things? The nice cars, women, money, jewelry…damn you was the man! So at the end of the day, the rappers were so cool…growing up in Chicago, that’s who we aspired to be like. You know? They were making money, they were successful and aside from that, they were people that we could relate to.

AllHipHop.com: So how’d you link up with Kanye? How did that come about? GLC: Well Kanye and I we linked up in like 1993. We were kids! We had a mutual friend that went to the grammar school that I had went to that had transferred to Kanye’s grammar school. They became friends; they were in a rap group at the time. Then he told me like “yo, my man Kanye makes beats. You should come over here and listen to the beats man I’m telling you he real cold!” So I went over there and he was real cold!

“I know that people were saying that Kanye is a part of the Illuminati

and he sacrificed his mom and all this type of crazy s**t…he loved his mom. “-GLC

GLC Feat. Kanye West – “The Big Screen”

AllHipHop.com: Kanye placed you on College Dropout and that was the public’s first introduction to GLC, then Late Registration after that. What did those placements do for you as far as your career? Do you think they were equally helpful? Did Late Registration kind of drive home the buzz created off College Dropout? GLC: Those placements really enhanced my appeal. They made people see me more. My appearances they began to soar you know? They propelled my ism to new heights. It made the world be able to understand and hear my concepts and it gave me a different plateau, another avenue to display my ism and my talents you know? And with that being said, from the grace of God, my appearances were very well received by the public which sparked me having a pretty good underground career. And now it’s time to take it to the forefront with my new album. Church.

AllHipHop.com: Lately Kanye’s been building a really big buzz with his group and the whole G.O.O.D. music thing on Twitter but you haven’t really been part of the songs, part of the hype. Are you still down with G.O.O.D. music?

GLC: (laughs) Well I’ll tell you this. G.O.O.D. music is my family. Kanye is my man. But I have my own company now called Get It Man Entertainment. With my company I learned a lot from being under the G.O.O.D. Music umbrella….I was up under the umbrella until 2006. Ever since then I haven’t been on paperwork with G.O.O.D. Music but they were always my family and still are. But on paperwork, I have my own company. It’s called Get It Man Entertainment. With my company, I’m the first company that EMI/Capitol records has ever done a distribution deal for an artist with no sales history. So Kanye being my friend, I learned a lot. I sat back and I watched how he moved in his own company and I took the game and the advice that he told me and I went and started my own.

AllHipHop.com: Your album dropped on last Tuesday…for those that haven’t copped yet, what should they expect from the album? Kanye West Feat. GLC & Consequence – “Spaceship”

GLC: Well on the album you gon’ hear a lot of the ism baby, you gon hear pimping, hustling, love, life and loyalty you know? It’s sort of like the return of back when the pimping, the hustling, the gangsterism…you could learn something from it like the middle and early 90’s you know? Take you back like retro-style. But at the same time giving you things that you knew that enlighten you. You know I teach you how to grow and develop. And on the album, the features that are included are the likes of Bun B and Sir Mix-a-Lot who are on my first single called “Clockin Lotsa Dollars.” I also have Kanye West and T-Pain, I have Twista, I have BJ the Chicago Kid, I have John Legend. This group from London they were really big in the 70’s I have them on the record. They performed over a sample that was cleared by Bruce Springsteen and he has never cleared a sample before so the album is already history in the making. From doing the deal with EMI, the type of deal we did and the fact I’m the first sample Bruce Springsteen cleared…and I’m just giving you the ism baby when you hear it you’re going to embrace the concept. You’re going to embrace the love, life and loyalty. Church. AllHipHop.com: How did you get this deal with EMI? Why do you think they chose you to be the first one with this type of deal, of all other potential artists?

GLC: Well the reason being it was the hard work, the perseverance, the appearances that I made. I’m on Kanye’s project, I’m on Kid Cudi’s new project, I’m on Bun B’s project, I’m on the Outlawz new album, I’m on Donnis’s new project, Chip Tha Ripper, Shawn Christopher, P. Wonder. I have over 70 features this year on other people’s projects. Not only that but I just been dropping I guess just solid records that made people want to sign me. Prior to me signing the deal with EMI, I had about 4 or 5 different situations pending in which I could have gone and developed with them but I chose EMI. First off you want to be able to stunt and say hey I made history but more so importantly than that they had the structure and they had the right set up so we could grow and develop together. AllHipHop.com: It’s been 6 years since you first came out on Kanye’s record and now you’re finally coming out with your first album. Up to this point, what has the journey been like for you? Do you feel like it took too long?

GLC: The journey has been great. From 04 to 07, I lived on the road. I was always on tours with Kanye opening up, and coming out and performing on his sets and gaining notoriety and raising my appeal. I was giving my persona to the people just so that they could embrace the concept you know? That was a great stage for me to start off on. The last tour that we did in 07 it was like man I been on the road all these years, I been dropping these mixtapes, I been doing these features and everywhere I went slowly but surely people would begin to ask, “when’s the album coming out? What’s up what’s going on?” Since then I’ve had a few different offers on the table in order to put out this project but I felt that before me taking those offers I had to get my weight up. Those offers could be what I really wanted them to be if I got my weight up. I had to pretty much let people know who GLC was outside of just being the guy who performed on Kanye’s records and gave you memorable verses. I had to let people enter my world and grow with me so I chose to do the viral approach. I went very hard on the viral effort…the internet embraced it. It was just a couple years ago, the Cool Kids and I…one group and one guy from Chicago with nothing on the radio, nothing on TV…just a solid internet presence and we were named the 2 biggest local artists in Chicago by XXL. So with that I was like, “aw man this internet s**t, it really works!” So I just kept going and when you keep going….like I’ve seen artists come out under other artists in the past and often the results are like grand opening, grand closing. So I chose to step outside of that and let people know who I am and what I stand for so we can all grow and develop together. Church.

AllHipHop.com: After this album, what else are you hoping to obtain in this industry? Do you want to keep rapping…are there other things you have your hand in that you hope this could maybe open the door for you to do? GLC: Oh yes ma’am. I want to get into acting. Right now I’m shooting a short film here in Chicago for my album called Love, Life and Loyalty. Aside from that, I have a cartoon that I’m working on called “Welcome to Haterville.” With that I have a couple networks that are interested in moving forward with the project and aside from that I have a tee-shirt line, Just GLC Tees that we’re working on to get out there for the people to embrace the concept. I really want to just focus on trying to help end the genocide inside our community. Seeing these kids out here on this foolishness just killing each other, I want to help to try to restore order to the streets of America because it’s tough out here and somebody got to try to stand up. I’m on the pursuit of happiness.

Exclusive: A Chat With Don King, The Legend, The Man

He’s been called the “greatest boxing promoter in history”

by many, but Don King’s notoriety and zany hair have always claimed the media

spotlight. AllHipHop.com just sat in with the legendary boxing promoter for an

exclusive interview, where he talks boxing, God, and country.

In Part 1 of 3, the sometimes elusive King, along with his

business advisor Steve Marcano of My LiL Star products company, is surprisingly

open and equally elated to share his most recent announcement – a major

fight card on December 17 in Miami.

In fact, King is billing his latest venture as the

“Christmas Party” that just may save the sweltering City of Miami’s ice cold economy…

AllHipHop.com: Tell

me about your big upcoming fights on December 17.

Don King: On

December 17, there’s going to be a Christmas party, a festival in Miami at the

Triple A Arena, which is the American Airlines Arena. And it’s going to be like

the rebirth of Miami, because you know the economy has crashed down on everyone

in the country, and especially in the Oasis of Heaven – that’s down here

in Miami, with the foliage and the activity and the excitement and the beach. So

we’re going to start a new beginning of bringing back great attractions, you

know what I mean? It will be a Community Unity effort to bring everybody, you

know what I mean?

AllHipHop.com: Who’s

on the card?

Don King: The Cuban

gold medal winner Odlanier Solis – he’s a defector that came here

fighting for freedom, and we also have Angelo Santana – we call him ‘The

Swimmer.’ He is a young kid that dived into the ocean and swam to Miami. He got

picked up like you hitchhike on the street, but hitchhiking boats and thumbing

a ride on the boats, and the boats would pick him up until here got here to the

Land of Freedom in America here. So he will be on the card also. He’s a

defector.

And Ray Austin, who is the #1 contender for the WBC World

Heavywieght Championship eliminator. The one who wins the fight will go

directly into a title fight against Vitali Klitschko.

And then you’ve got Tavoris Cloud, and he is the light

heavyweight champion of the world. They are now in the process of getting an

opponent for him, and he will be defending his crown as the IBF Heavyweight

Champion of the world. He’s a remarkable young man who just fought back on

August 7 in St. Louis, and it was a remarkable fight between him and Glen

Johnson. That was a great fight.

So now, you’re gonna have along with that, all the different

guys – the champion from Haiti – that’s Bermane Stiverne, he will

be working. And there’s a heavyweight elimination match, and you’re gonna have

Kertson Manswell, coming out from Trinidad and Tobago. He will be fighting a

heavy weight elimination match.

So it’s going to be a super sensational card, which will

bring the community, and bring all people together in the community of Miami.

But we’re going to be doing it where it’s gonna be a charitable affair with the

Kiwanis, that’s going out to help people in all ways and means of coming

together. It’s education and healthcare and working that end. So it’s something

that’s going to be quite exciting, because it’s going to be a people’s

promotion.

AllHipHop.com: Is

there a TV deal on the table? HBO or anyone?

Don King: Right now,

we’re building it from scratch, so we’re letting them all come. There’s going

to be Spanish TV and mega-radio, all the Spanish stations will be there. We’re

going to do a 24-7 Spanish show that will be shown all over Spanish TV. We’d

like to do HBO with this, and we’re going to put it into all the TV stations

that want to be a part of a great extravaganza. We want 20,000+ people in the

arena, and we want a big screen on the outside wall for all of the people who

can’t get in can see it from out in the streets. It’s going to be a festive

time.

And, we’re going to the Freedom Tower, which is across the

street from the American Airlines Arena, and we’re going to have a big program

there and a press conference in the next week that will symbolize freedom. We

want a nationalistic approach to bring it to a local level where people are

committed to freedom, justice, and equality. Though many of us still have not

gotten it yet, this is something we want to emphasize. We’re in progress, we’re

in the struggle. Frederick Douglass said, “Without struggle, there is no

progress.’ So we’re going to be fighting for a better America, and using the

Cuban defections to symbolize what we do have at home. It’s not to be denied to any of us. We have to deal with what is real, and we have to knock out the symbols

of injustice and hatred and divisiveness.

Sign. I think they did him a favor. Plus, Kanye knows this wasn’t going to fly in Walmart, Target and all the other places people get music nowadays. This is just hyperbole!

CONGRATS!

I’m hearing Monica got engaged to with Shannon Brown! Here is the ROCK up close.

Monica also addressed the “haters” or critics.

“We realize people will have their opinions. That’s the way of the world. But we know who we are & who’s we are. We pray 2 an awesome God 2gether. And that is what keeps us strong. So for all my real supporters who are happy for me. I thank u, I love u, & I’m realistic enough about life To know my journey has just begun. I don’t have anything else to say about it 2 people who judge. If u worked on self u wouldn’t even see me.”

CONGRATS!

THE JAY-Z CHESS CHALLENGE UPDATE!

I told you my boy Chris G. is the biggest Jay-Z fan ever! Well, peep this. I have an update. I heard Chris is in touch with Jay’s people and they are in touch. I don’t know what’s good as far as it really happening. But they are talking in some form or fashion.

Apparently, Jay is on some tour, but when he gets back…we’ll see.

GUCCI RUMOR -FAKERS GANK FANS

Poor fans. They got juxed. Peep what one of the homies said:

Wut up ILLseed,

This ya boy SwanB from little ol Lansing out here in Michigan. Soooo for the past week the radio has been promoting a Gucci Mane breast caner awareness concert. There are flyers at every corner store and all. The concert was to go down tonight (10/15) on the campus of Michigan State University. Well yesterday the venue got changed from the lovely MSU campus to a former Holiday Inn on the southside (woot woot). Now this was interesting to me for two reasons. 1: Gucci at an old Holiday Inn wtf?? 2: MSU is in cozy East Lansing, southside Lansing is GOONville USA. 19% unemployment (thanks GM!!) Gucci would defiantly need a quick security up grade. So what happens….all day talk of the concert…banging after party..and then…NO GUCCI!! These fake promoters are still at it making some nice paper! Gucci was nowhere near the city! I was clowning at the barbershop saying that I got Gucci tickets half price! Every1 wanted one! lol

TINY LAUGHS AND THEN CRIES

Here is Tiny, heading out from court on Friday.

Here is what T.I. reportedly said to the judge to get a break on sentencing.

“I need the court to give me mercy. Judge, don’t send me back to prison.”

“I screwed up. I screwed up big time, and I’m sorry. I’m truly and sincerely sorry. I don’t want and I don’t need to use drugs anymore. I want them out of my life.”

“I want drugs out of my life. If I can get treatment and counseling I need … I can beat this,”

Here is a good video of what happened at the court.

THESE ARE Y’ALLS RAPPERS!

SO. Remember how I came into knowing who the hell Lil B was? Yeah? Well here is his latest antic for all to love. At a show, some dude tells Lil B that he can screw his girlfriend. Then after B didn’t respond in a way he thought was cool, the same wack job said “f**k my mom Based God!” Lil B was so honored at the thought, he asked the dude to grant him the honor of kissing his hand. WORD? That’s how yall do it? LOL! Lil B already calls himself a princess and all that. I’m confused!

ILLSEED’S QUICKIES

I heard there is a wake for Huddy Combs today. R.I.P.

Omarion is looking real crazy right now and the IRS is helping that along. O owes $110,585 in federal taxes. Dude filed for bankruptcy this year!

Foxy Brown is going for The Youth Ambassador of Trinidad and Tobago. Looks like this is what people do when the rap game doesn’t work out.

Now, I’m hearing VADO wants to work with Justin Biter (Bieber). Come on, son!

LIL B, WE LOVE YOU! HOWEVER…They keep us talking, but if we stop talking about them then they should worry!

Underground Hip-Hop Legend Eyedea Dies Suddenly

Rapper Michael “Eyedea” Larsen died suddenly Sunday morning (October 17), a mere month before his 29th birthday.

The singer/rapper had been a staple in the underground scene for over a decade.

According to reports, his mother, Kathy Averill, found his body early in the morning.

“It is with great pain and sadness that I tell you my son Mikey (Eyedea) has passed away,” Averill wrote on Facebook.

The cause of death for the St. Paul, Minnesota native remains unknown and his mother requested privacy.

“At this time we kindly request your respect and our privacy as we process this devastating loss. On behalf of Mikey’s family, close friends and fans, thank you.”

Eyedea was a longtime member of the Rhymesayer crew and had won a number of rap battles.

One of his most acclaimed victories included the HBO-televised Blaze Battle in 2000 and Scribble Jam in 1999.

I think it is safe to say that I cannot relate to this. I remember once upon a time, I was bit of a wild dude, but these cats take the cake! What’s up with a dude having “F**k The World” tatted on his forehead? Where can you go with that? I don’t even think you can sell drugs with such an identifying marker on your face. “Officer Danny here. Yeah. I got him. I’m sure. ‘F**k The World’ was right where they said it would be. Yeah. I’m sure nobody else on Earth would have this tat.”

The world wishes it was a virgin, I’m sure.

DUDE, WE LOVE YOU! HOWEVER…They keep us talking, but if we stop talking about them then they should worry!
