In related news, Tupac’s mother, Afeni Shakir, told TMZ that she was “thrilled” that her son made a digital appearance on the stage last night. While Afeni did not attend to concert, she watched it over the Internet. She also gave Dre approval to go forward with the hologram, prompting the Compton native to make a donation to the Tupac Amaru Shakur Foundation, a charity launched in honor of the slain MC.
