Rick Ross and Jeezy

Hip-Hop Rumors: Video Of The Rick Ross / Jeezy Scuffle Surface

Unless you’ve been under a rock all weekend, you’ve already heard about Rick Ross and Young Jeezy getting into a scuffle back stage at the taping of the BET Hip-Hop Awards. If you missed that story, you can click on the link and read it below:

UPDATE: Rick Ross and Young Jeezy Reportedly Fight Backstage at BET Hip-Hop Awards; Shots Ring Out in Parking Lot

Well, footage of the shoving match has finally hit the ‘net. In the video, it takes a boat load of security guards to keep Ross and Jeezy away from each other.

A shirtless Rick Ross can be seen yelling before being escorted away from the scene. Whoever Ross was yelling at tried to follow after him – I can’t tell if that is Jeezy or not, but security stepped in before he could get there.

Check out the TMZ exclusive video below:

That looked intense! Side note, BET released a statement about the violence at the show. Take a look at what they had to say below:

“BET Networks works very hard to bring the best in entertainment to the city of Atlanta. For the past 7 years BET has celebrated the true art form of Hip Hop. Due to some misjudgment of select attendees, it is unfortunate that certain incidents took place. BET Networks does not condone any type of violence. Local authorities are working to resolve the situation as quickly as possible.”

Despite the actions of a few the 2012 BET Hip Hop Awards embodied the true spirit of hip hop and was not impacted at all by any incidents. Tune in on Tuesday, October 9, 8P/7C to watch the 2012 BET Hip Hop Awards.

Do you think BET will uninvite some of these artists from participating next year? Should they be punished for their foolishness?

MMG lost this week… GunPlay also confirmed on radio (Breakfast club) he got jumped by 50 and the G-Unit crew because he said 50 career was over and he was a donkey…lmaoOoo… Gunplay also said he lost his chain … (The audio is out somewhere on youtube)
On the other hand…What a week for 50…50 squash’d beef with Fat Joe, respark’d beef with Diddy, took a picture with Meek Mill , Punch’d Rick Ross Capo, and announced his next single will drop next week at the same damn time…

    • $00.50 = BET Hip Hop Award Winner

    • D_Ably

lol you need to be working for this site

    • Southcidal

That’s winning? Taking a picture with a MMG artist? LMAO!! Gunplay might sell more records than 50.

  • MadVillain

so which n!gga was Ross? so many ball headed cops i couldnt even differentiate. couldnt even see Jeezy either, saw Drama making swift exit tho lol.

  • Imamu Hunter

I feel bad for these dudes because they feel they have to engage in this nonsense to maintain street cred. At the end of the day they are FATHERS!!! make it home to your kids @ what ever cost. Shot out to Diddy for being a Grown ass Man…. “Tell Fifty pardon your back”.

  • Casor_Greener

    All the fuss over that?!?!?

    • King Flashy TheFirst

Good question. Why do Ross and Jeezy even have problems. They are affiliated with a lot of the same people in the game (Cash Money, Hov, Kanye, Khaled, etc) you figure they would know how to behave in a civil manner around each other. Is this all because of the B.M.F track?

      • Yeah, BMF track….so the rumor goes.

Underlying tensions also resulted for a subliminal tweet that one of them wasn’t tough enough for Instagram!

      • outside of the bmf track which imo got squashed ross been talking real slick about jeezy speaking on his dead homey and stuff … if that aint crossing the line i dont know what is … sometimes we dont see the whole picture … for jeezy to hold back when folks are speaking on your dead fam i dont even know if i can knock dude for checkin ross …. especially seeing that its a real situation that ross has nothing to do with ….. shoot even if i were gucci id probably check ross for that one …. like LEAVE THAT ALONE !!!!!!! 😉

      • Care to elaborate?

What dead homie? What did he say? Why?

I feel that though, the Bawse is a cornball & I can’t fault anyone for checking him ( Charlie Murphy style ) for any reason.

Team 4UMF is hiring interns, link up!

That would make a top scoop right about know. Hip Hop knowledge = a must!

    • What?
You didn’t see the broken mirror?
Somebody’s gonna have to pay for that! : (

  • So was Rick one of the cops?

  • justrockwell

Shout out to you niggas that make excuses for this type of behavior!!!

    • therealest1

It should be more like FuckYou for people who advocate, support or defend this type of ignorant behavior.

  • Bumpy Johnson

(.”For the past 7 years BET has celebrated the true art form of Hip Hop”.) if this was the case 3/4 of the people there would not even be invited.

    • Not true, look at what Hip Hop has offered for the last 10yrs?
Not counting the usual suspects who consistently drop significant material their whole careers.

      Mos Def / Yasin Bey
Shine ….Ok, just checking to see if you was paying attention. no Shine …EVER
      Immortal Tech
      Dead Prez
      sometimes Nas.

      >>> Honorable mention to ‘Em, but he hasn’t been “HUNGRY” in the last 10yrs?

Have to give the Bawse props for the one deep, soulful ballad he made about how hurt he was when one of his diamonds popped out his Versace shades.
Other than that, his career lacks substance, material wise.

      ChinPlay got Chin Checked again.
      Another KO?

      • therealjjohnson

KRS is on this list…for the last 10 years?
I love Dead Prez but they havent released and album since 2004. I know who Immortal Tech is but no one else does. I’ll give you Mos…but album wise his offerings have been poor. He is just an all around great dude who raps better than the albums he puts out. Looking back…(not including Nas) the last 10 years been pretty wack as far as “hip hop” is concerned

      • “I’ll give you Mos…but album wise his offerings have been poor.”

Can add Nas, Jigga, Em & jadaKiss to fit the above description.

%90 of the MC’s today rap better than the music they put out…”Why is That?” >>>KRS Voice

So what has Hip Hop, well, excuse me, RAP, offered in the last 7yrs?
Substance wise? There is literally none, save for the few we mentioned & non mainstream artist.

I can drop a 25yr? old track from KRS that is better than anything in weezy’s catalog.

        Rap is stagnant.

‘Chet 25yrs old is fresher than ‘chet 25days old?
Dedication 4 VS Material Love ( Love’s Gonna Get ‘cha )
        Material Love >>> Dedication 4
        Illegal Business 1 ( KRS ) >>> YMCMB

      • Southcidal

Get out of the past edogz. I was like you for a while, but I’ve allowed myself to realize that things and times will change. That old backpack style is gone and isn’t coming back. Check out Lupe, Kendrick, J Cole, Currency, Krit, Meek can spit, and many more. To compare these dudes to a young KRS is unfair because you were probably young along with that young KRS and a lot more easily impressed. Do you know what the Gap Band, Kool and The Gang, Don Cornelius and the people who preceded KRS said about him huh?

      • Yeah & you may be right, but to me, this current crop is garbage.

I’m the older generation, so I have considered that I sound like the folks hating on Run DMC, who felt Marvin Gaye & the Gap Band were better…..& they were, subjectively.

Weezy has more top #100’s than Elvis, but to me, he is still trash.
His style / image is trash….& this is where he differs from KRS, IT, Mos Def, etc.

Weezy sells a record, not an image.

So if KRS drops an album & sells 50K to hard core Hip Hop heads & Weezy drops “Kiss another man in the mouth Vol 2” & it sells 2 million in the gay & corporate community, does that really make him a better MC?

      • Southcidal

No way am I saying that any of these new school dudes are better than the old school rappers. All I’m saying is that you can’t listen for the same shiit these days. Its a different sound and style of rap all together. For the record I like Lil Wayne’s music, well not all of it, or even most of it. I didn’t at first, but I now approach him not expecting to get any deep, thought provoking jewels, just some clever, humorous little quips on hype 808 beats. Is Weezy KRS? Come on man.

      • “Caught in the middle &
        Not surrendering,
I don’t rhyme for the sake of riddling!”

        Chuck D / Flavor Flav / PE – Don’t believe the hype

Hard to go from that to “Duffle Bag Boy”…for me at least….& Weezy has made some good songs, catchy tune, jingle, but in this day & age, artist have to be be accountable for their verbal magic & how they attract it.

( IE: The Rumor Topic on Jeezy & Officer Ricky )

        The kids man…the kids!
        >>> In Old Dirty’s Voice “Wu-Tang is for the children!”

If we don’t guide them, who will, the system?
The system will guide them right into Officer Ricky’s industry…Prison.

  • forget all that. rozay got some huge ta ta’s!!! hahahhaa

  • King Flashy TheFirst

“They shoulda never gave you niggas money!”

  • David Knight

Idk but u can see rick push over a table. He mad at someone.

  • therealest1

Can anyone verify if William Roberts is Abdullah The Butcher’s son?

  • therealest1

Its shocking to see that DJ Khaled’s fat undercover terrorist ass not yelling “LISTEN” or “WE THE BEST!”

  • KoolBreeze561
