Exclusive: Gunplay Reveals “100 Billion Dollar” Hip Hop Invention

(AllHipHop News) In our conclusion of our exclusive interview with Gunplay he reveals a new invention that will go hand in hand with Hip Hop Lifestyle.

In the next few years Gunplay plans on developing his own line of video game controller.

Think Beats by Dre but for your hands.

“I got an idea that [can] generate — the the 1st year if I license it out — probably 1 billion in say two years lemme say 3 years and that’s with stumbling and fumbling the first year once I set everything up proper we looking at a 100 billion dollar profit, all profit. It’s right under your nose”

Gunplay continued “Everytime they say what you playing X-Box or Playstation they going to ask you a question what kind of Controller you got. It’s all going to be about the controller just like your shoes. I’m gonna make controllers the dopest shit. It’s already in the making its already done. I’m just letting you know when I get this money I QUIT this rap shit.”

Nobody checkin for ur rap anyway

    • MrNoName2K

nah you crazy son, Gunplay go hard on the mixtapes

      • andone

nah u crazy son… the only thing gp goes hard on is the pavement!

      • And the powder.

      • andone

      • MrNoName2K

        ^2..good one lol

      • andone

u know we got jokes out here lol… honestly im not gonna lie tho, i peeped a few tracks b4 to hear for myself… and lets jus say i was surprised a bit but not enough for me to co-sign him!

      • MrNoName2K

yea he definitely is not in the “elite” category and more than likely wont eeeeeeeeeeever scratch the surface

      • Yeah surprisingly he wasn’t as horrible as I expected him to be…I highly doubt I’ll ever have any Gunplay tracks in rotation ever cuz he don’t resonate with me like that, but he does have a couple cool lil shits lowkey that I might YouTube every once in a blue moon on some guilty pleasure shit.

      • andone

i hear u… but i jus dont mess wit mmg period, they might have a few nice tracks and ill give them that… but as u said it doesnt “resonate wit me like that” either so ill pass!

      • I can dig it, trust and believe…I’ve only had that particular “guilty pleasure” once. LMAO Stalley’s the only one I’ve ever checked for on MMG, fam needs to get the hell away from them frauds though PRONTO.

      • The true statements usually are the best ones. LOL

      • Bawahahahahaaa!

      • naledge77

Sorry MrNoName2K, but I have to disagree. GP is genocide to hip hop and even rap alike. Just like French and these new up and coming cornball rappers. I mean do I have have to post a list of bums in the game. I’d rather listen to Macklemore and Mac Miller over this ranting idiot. That’s not to say that they’re not dope or that I discredit them in anyway.

And honestly the only dude that has real talent on MMG is Wale. Let’s be real anyone can make rap songs, but dude be making real music. It’s only a matter of time before Wale skips on those fools and goes solo. Meek is Ehh with his shit. He just has good flow but his lyrics are repetitive and saturated with his past. Rick Ross….need I say more?

I like Stalley, but MMG don’t know how to market his shit. So in all retrospect I say….Stalley who?

        Just my opinion though.

      • MrNoName2K

        Macklemore? Mac…Miller??…man…n/c

      • Nah man Stalley’s the closest thing to that authentic Hip-Hop that MMG will most likely ever see on their roster, which is exactly why they don’t know how to market him cuz they rely too heavily on gimmicks and he don’t seem to be about all that from the impression I got. To me I don’t even see why he’s on that particular label cuz all his presence really does is further highlight just how fraudulent the rest of them cats truly are. Maybe it’s just me and my penchant for rootin for the underdog, but Stalley’s the real talent on MMG. Wale showed a lotta potential during his come up, but ended up tradin substance for style just to fit in and now he’s become indistinguishable from the rest. I could def. see Stalley on G.O.O.D. Music or somethin like that though, sounds like it’d be a MUCH better fit for him than what he’s workin with now…workin with cats like Kanye, Common and Q-Tip who have a genuine appreciation for the CULTURE of Hip-Hop and come from a background where that was the norm.

  • junj03

    we all need a “B O G O T A!” controller thats “rollin”

That just goes to show he doesn’t love Hip Hop! Kendrick said it best – I can feel the changes

I can feel the new people around me just want to be famous

You can see that my city found me then put me on stages

    To me that’s amazing

To you that’s a quick check with all disrespect let me say this

    • naledge77

Kendrick is what we as fans of Hip Hop call an “MC”. Kendrick is still borderline though with his music. I guess in todays music industry you have no choice but to cater to the meatheads of this gen. Especially if you want to be poppin’ on them charts. Eminem and Jay are the only real MC’s to really ever do it.

  • $18592567

    don logan

  • MrNoName2K

    lol ay its a hustle

  • YaheardSyndicate

He shouldve kept it to himself, Someone with bread is going to just do it before him

    • ZUBU

Exactly, he should keep this to himself until he’s about to debut the “item.”

    • Bifsquad3

Ummmmm…He did keep it to hisself. He neva said wth type of controllers he makin or nuttin!!

      • ZUBU

He may not have given specific details about his controller, but he indicated what the product is and that each should/can be individually based/selected like shoes. Hmm.. sounds like he is anxious to spill the beans.
On the other hand Dre & Jimmy Iovine never said nothing about Beats By Dre until their product was developed and ready for release, then everyone tried to copy them, but Dre and Jimmy were well ahead of the game. IJS….

  • Live Well

This nigga is high again. What business man tells people about his idea before it’s official?

    • naledge77

That is because it is not official. How come we only come to hear about this crap on these Blog sites.

  • justyouraverage

that aint gunna be worth shit lets say I can play a game perfectly well with the current ps3/xbox control why would I go an buy his one when it dose nothing for me except cost me money it wont guarantee ill be better at all my games nobody can do that

    • hoeyuno

controllers get old and break. plus the systems usually come with one. ppls have there homies over to play basketball, baseball, hockey etc… it’s not a bad idea but ppl don’t want to shell out 300 bucks for a controller like they do for those ridiculously priced headphones…

  • Ike’s Mood

certain people are looking to buy shit like that. just like grown men who gets anal about about shoes…these same showboat fags are gonna do the same with this. grat idea, i just wish i found a way to do it first!

  • hoeyuno

It is a good idea.. video game headz don’t play around… there are a shit load of knockoff controllers out but usually the best are the actual controllers that come with the system.. I’m not a gamer but there is a huge market for this.

  • Michael Callan

    How bout just stop rappin…….

  • ant662

i was just saying their was no originality in hip hop and how artist just piggy back others ideas and someone said thats the only way they can make big checks and then u have this. u might not like dude but its one hell of idea and u know that shit will sell just like beats as long as he find someone to promote it just cuz dude gets alot of hate thrown his way

  • Eli Pinilla

The controller comes with a straw and a mirror back to sniff off of while u wait for the next call of duty session to begin

    • naledge77

Cant forget the gem star blade dispenser!

      • Eli Pinilla

        Thats the delux model

      • Matt Swan

Does it come with a 50cent bobblehead? You could practice beatin 50 up while you’re high as hell waiting for that next COD session. But I’ll wait for ricky ross version that has free cheat codes for KFC, Popeyes, Bojangles, Mc D’s, Taco Hell and other great food joints.

      • Eli Pinilla

Ross shit come with a game genie to all the discontinued twinkies

      • Matt Swan

The main problem I see with that is ross ass coming out as the genie eating all the damn Twinkies. I’m NOT gonna rub that fools belly to get ish!

probably 1 billion in say two years lemme say 3 years and that’s with stumbling and fumbling the first year once I set everything up proper we looking at a 100 billion dollar profit, all profit. It’s right under your nose” – Thats that coke talk lol

    • Tjzoo

Coke filled gamepads straight from Colombia… Border patrol be on the lookout Lol!!

now that has the potential to make a billion lol

  • Who’sthis?

he lost me as listener to a big degree, this nicca doesn’t even want to rap ! Who wants to bump a rapper who says as soon as he got some more money he is out of rap.

And yeah put down the drugs , you might be overdoing it

    • naledge77

You really used to listen to this cat? Sorry to hear that man. I know you’re entitled to listen to whatever you want, but I’m sorry man Gunplay is pure trash.

      • Who’sthis?

his new song “Bible on Dash” is good, repetitive flow but I can listen to it 2 times.

I check everyone making moves in the game out. Not that I was his fan.

      • Dhz30

        gunplay got a couple tracks

  • It’s great that he is thinking outside of the box, he need to keep his business plan to himself for now, because major corporations will surely beat him to it. Secondly if he doesn’t want to rap then stop….What Hip-Hop needs right now are rappers who actually want to rap and are in love with the craft, then everything will fall into place.

gunplay gonna put some spinners on the thumb sticks and have a lil stash tray that pops out when u need a hit an make 5 buttons on the pad – M O L L Y.

This dude is a clown and anyone willing to pay more than what it cost to buy a M$ controller for his supposed blinged out controller is just as moronic as he is. Drugs has affected this man in such a way that he really thinks gamers would buy his crap. I’m a huge gamer, even spent $60 on the Tron controller (simply because I’m a huge Tron fan), but never would I buy any MMG game accessory. It just doesn’t make any sense. Now if MMG had a track record for making superb gaming products then maybe perhaps it would be considerable. But til then dude needs to stop rapping like he said he wants to and go back to those “Skreets” where he belongs. SMDH.

And before anyone claims I’m a hater, it’s not that I’m hating but I’m just calling it like I see it.

    #REAL TALK!!!!

  • Eny Daboss

this ngga talking about coke…. he might put coke in these controllers

  • Live Well

imagine this clown in a business meeting. FOH

  • I believe he can do it, I also believe he punched 50 in the face…lol.. this guy… hey much luck bro!

    • Would you like to buy a bridge that goes from Manhattan to Brooklyn?

I’m selling it real cheap, and you can charge people to use it!

      • That dude burnt lol

      • Take him off the fire!

        Because he is done!

  • After I did some research, it seems as if the gaming industry is going hands free in the next couple of years… With all the dance games that involve body movement, and touch screen devices, his invention just might be about 10 years too late.

    • naledge77

      Google this:

Hands-on with Meta 1, a 3D augmented reality headset with a natural UI

You can also Google: Google Glass Apps.

Can we say Minority Report ya’ll!!!!

This is where gaming is headed. So yeah I completely agree with you on that fact that GP AKA dumbass is more than a little too late. He may have a couple of years though to make some bank, but that’s only if people are stupid enough to buy them shits.

      • I’d buy 100 Billion of them if I had the money…just so this fool would quit rappin!
