Young Buck and 50 Cent

Young Buck Out Of Bankruptcy; Outstanding Loan To 50 Cent Voided

(AllHipHop News) There’s good news for Nashville rapper Young Buck, and not so good news for his former mentor 50 Cent. TMZ reports that Buck is now officially out of bankruptcy, but 50 will not be seeing any of the money owed to him by the ex-G-Unit member.

Buck apparently borrowed $300,000 from 50, but documents show that the remaining $171,000 balance on the loan has been wiped cleaned. G-Unit Records was also looking for $10 million from Buck, but that debt has been erased as well.

Buck filed for bankruptcy protection in 2010 after his Hendersonville, Tennessee home was raided by the IRS. The trustee overseeing Buck’s bankruptcy liquidation charged that G-Unit and Universal Music Group had worked to prevent Young Buck from selling his masters, licenses, and trademarks due to the outstanding debts owed to them. G-Unit and Universal claimed ownership of all Buck’s intellectual property including his professional name.

Young Buck Couldn’t Release Music For 3 Years Because 50 Cent Had Him Locked In His G-Unit Contract. That Also Stopped Buck From Signing With Another Label.
All The Fans Thought Buck Fell Off Because They Didn’t Hear His Music As Much Music But The Reason For That Was Because 50 Cent Wasn’t Letting Him Release Music Or Make Any Money With G-Unit. In My Opinion That’s Kind Of Fucked Up What 50 Did He Also Cut Of All Contact With Buck. Buck Tried A Lot To Contact 50 & Settle Things But 50 Never Responded Back While Keeping Him Locked In His Contract. I Bet Buck Is Laughing At 50 Now.

    • johnblacksad

      50 is a bitch for that…

    • Jonathan Bacher

I dont have a stake in any camps…But Buck trying to discredit the Gunit movement costing them $ and loss in earning while he was still signed to them ? 1+1=2.

50 Cent and G-Unit’s most successful albums “Get Rich Or Die Trying” and “Beg For Mercy” both had Young Buck featured on them but as soon as buck got kicked out the unit their album sales hit rock bottom. Go look at 50 cent’s album sales when buck was with them then go look at his album sales after they fell out. I don’t want to say buck made G-Unit’s albums sell but that’s what it looks like. Young Buck’s first album released after G-Unit had low sales too but that was released through an independent label with no major distribution. 50 released his album through 3 major labels G-Unit/Shady/Interscope and it was also distributed by Universal Music Group and his album sales were still low.

    • Eli Pinilla

I cant be mad at 50 bout that….he loaned him 300k!!!! Not for a new album. Not for promo. Not for touring….he straight gave buck 300k to get his shit together. Thats a personal loan….how u gonna start sayin f*ck g unit and that man loaned u 300k to pay off your debts?!?!?! And he aint even payin it back?!?! 50 did what he needed to do. Theres alot of shit I dont agree with 50 on. This is one of them though.

    • Afi Keita James

Karma will hit 5-0 one day, he is not only a neocon, he’s also super illuminati.

  • Freebe Jackson

not sure if any label will want to sign Buck when he is released….maybe Cash Money…..but atleast he got a lot of things cleared up and probably can do some features on other peoples songs and some shows to make some money……id probably write a book if i were in his position

    • DollasTX

        i said juicy j already

      • DollasTX

all you get on a MAJOR label now a days is PROMO – while niggahs sticking to the grass roots of their hustle end up with more PROVO and respect – its plenty niggahs gets signed that never come out or see light of day – the game is VIRAL now and labels have become a VIRUS of sorts – not saying they are obsolete – just saying that you can do numbers on your own first and then use the labels to validate what you’ve already accomplished and achieved makes your CHECK bigger at the end of the day as opposed to trying to go major first – and end up a RADIO 1 HIT WONDER and still be in debt to the MAJOR

MAC MILLER vs CHIEF KEEF or PROMO vs PROVO

      • Freebe Jackson

you a slow nigga…….i dont have the time to break down what i said…….

      • DollasTX

niggah phuck you and yo comment … i responded to the TOPIC and you responded directly to me which means you were looking to converse and i was just speaking my opinion and keeping it moving … i never asked for your answer or your opinion … and like i said BITCH NIGGAH – NIGGAHS DONT NEED MAJORS or a deal – a record deal aint shit but a LOAN …

      • Freebe Jackson

you responded to my comment period dickhead…..but you did not fully comprehend what was said ….good day sir

      • DollasTX

i didnt even read your comment in its entirety … i know wtf im talking about … dont need outside influence or confirmation … good day MA’AM

      • johnblacksad

especially when you already have a lil name out… grind, push that sh!t and go on tour to pocket that guap!

      • DollasTX

right – whats the use of being a household name but you cant afford a house to hold in your name ????

BARRY SANDERS state of MIND >>> thinking LONG RUN lol

      • Matt Swan

But buck doesn’t even own the moniker Young Buck, so what is he going to call himself? He lost every thing. Most could make it without a major holding them up, but in his case, I think that he will sign to Cash Money (makes some sense), or to MMG just to spite 50. He needs to get out there, with a new name, a new game plan, a focus on who he wants to be, and a means to get there. If he went to Cash Money, put out a mixtape with Mystical…he’d be back in business.

      • JS

That was dismissed in court. Young Buck can still use the name.

      • Matt Swan

Cool. I still think he needs to change it all up and let the past be the past. A new name, new image and a new team. To those in the know, he’ll always be Buck

  • Tre C

too bad it took so long because here’s another dope rapper who’s buzz has fizzled out due to bad business

  • the irony lol the only way 50 could get a buzz is if he did a track with Ja Rule. lmao truth.

  • cjarrett52372

Glad for Buck he got out that! 50 need to no God don’t like Ugly

  • Da Bo$$ DON

buck i hope you’re not going to waste your life on crack again and be a decent harding working nigga

  • 50 still gonna find a way to hold this nigga back.. he dont like losing at nothing…

    • Matt Swan

He couldn’t shut off ricky down. Wish he had tho.

  • Eli Pinilla

50’s cold, but buck did this shit to himself. How u gonna say f*ck g unit and this man loaned u 300k on a personal tip? U owe the man money and u sayin f*ck him and his brand? The brand that made u “a sevin figure ngga without a royalty check yet”?!?!? I was a fan. But I cant condone sucka shit. Welcome to cashville is a southern classic imo, but I could never listen to his shit the same. Especially if he comes out talkin bout ballin and making money..

    • TimeWillTellu1

I agree you should never bite the hand that feeds you but at the same time that doesn’t mean you let the hand that’s feeding you treat you like a biotch or sucka.

      • Eli Pinilla

Thats why u never bite the hand that feeds u lol cuz the one that feeds u is in control and will abuse it the majority of the time if u bite.

    • Yup, thats how black NI@@AS are, they use up all your shit then look at you like you are the bad guy.You know how much money it costs to carry a bunch of dudes around you every where you go and paying the bill for 20 of them all the time? They should be a shamed of themselves grown ass men who couldn’t stay afloat without a handout from 50 cent…The minute he turned his back on them they all dissappeared.

      • GetIt100

You follow and stay with someone that turns their back? That don’t even make sense.

    • Afi Keita James

Because buck finally saw the sociopath (50) for what he truly is, just like game did.

      Game warned buck about him.

  • TimeWillTellu1

I’m glad Buck got out of this. Lesson learned! Now I hope he drops another dope album and shitz all over the UNIT. 50 got enough dough and GOD dont like ugly. Buck never gave up! MUCH Respect! Come out to the Bay and start over breh…

  • best_believe

It’s a fat tax write off for 50.

    • scullyson

      Lol

  • King Buzz

50 cent is a evil dude im glad that things turned out for the good on Buck’s better half.the devil lost this battle

  • MrNoName2K

good sh*t..buck is actually a pretty decent artist so i think he’ll be aiight

  • I am sorry, why would I be happy for young buck in this situation? As much as I hate 50 for his beefing to sell a record, he is still the reason for Young Buck, Tony Yayo, Game and Lloyd Banks’s success,, and the minute he stopped giving them a hangout they all just went sour….It’s a dam shame how these grown ass men can’t be successful without waiting for a handout from 50 cent…How much longer did they want to leech off of 50’s bank account?
50 used to drive around in a fleet of cars with these ni@@as, 50 had these dudes on every radio station, tv network, and live shows, and not one of them can hold their own without 50’s support? I feel for 50 cent, paying the way for these grown ass men, 20 ni@@as driving your cars, eating up your food, drinking your liquor and spending your money….I don’t blame ya 50 Fu@k them all.

    • Da Ledgendary

you couldn’t have said that any better. 50 said it himself he regret doing as much as he did trying to help niggas. He said he thought he was helping them but instead, he spoiled niggas into expecting him to do everything for them.

      • NEWSKULL

        YEP…

    • PorchBoySlim

not only that…but Buck stabbed a nigga on camera and 50 paid for the lawyers that got him off…all buck had to do is stay loyal and the nigga couldnt do that…I’m sorry but if a nigga get me out of a attempted murder charge that nigga could tell me to stop talking to my grandma and I wouldnt have a issue with that (not literally but yall get the point)….I never felt sorry for buck..dude is a clown

    • IG – @DjChiszle

50 likes to feed his niggas

  • Dadon850

Hopefully Buck sobers up and get back in the booth.

    • Afi Keita James

    • jacksjus

This is true however what you failed to mention is that 50’s kindness came at a high cost, such as loyalty. He forces these cats to handle his beef in the industry ultimately black balling themselves. For every rapper they dissed it is now a lost opportunity to collaborate.

    • Afi Keita James

No he doesn’t, he just uses people to what he wanted and that’s why game and young buck didn’t wanna be puppets.

The main reason Young Buck hates 50 so much is because he locked him in his contract for 3 years. Fifty wouldn’t let Buck out of his contract and at the same time he didn’t speak to Buck and he couldn’t release any music or make any money through G-Unit. That also stopped Buck from signing with another label. Buck has released a lot of music in the past few years independently through his own label Cashville Records the only reason it doesn’t get as much attention is because he doesn’t have the same distribution as he did when he was with G-Unit. To everyone who thinks Buck is still broke that is not true since Buck went bankrupt in 2010 and got his possessions sold at auction he has bought himself a new mansion after he got evicted from his old one. He even bought back his 615 chain and some other possessions from the IRS auction. He might not be a millionaire but he is far from broke.

  • Dougla Cat

Do any of these fellas throw $500K aside for a rainy day and use the rest as dirt money. Sad to hear about he millions they lose. Oh we’ll, as long as them niggas put ketchup on my cheeseburger it’s all love!
