Your list might win on strictly lyrical ability because you got a couple Titans on there… We definitely would win on creativity and make better songs over here lol

She can really flow on beat with bars. Her and Jean Grae my top female mcs then of course legends like Lauren, Mc Lyte, Ra Digga etc.

  1. Dark Matters

“Takin’ her places you can’t go with your per diem. Screaming carpe diem until I’m a dead poet. Robin Williams sh*t… I whip the coke let the lawyer beat the case”

I agree. Hov’s 3 Kings verse is beyond epic.

So iLLL that line!! Jay people can hate only because he has money doesn’t have anything to do with his lyrical prowess. Reasonable doubt alone he said some ill shit. Most people wouldn’t get that because they are probably for 1 way too young. So the dead poet movie reference that robin williams was in would not registered. So really young teenage cats or mid 20’s listening to albums of classic mcs certain lines might go over their heads. Dope list!

Anytime someone tells me that Jay Z is wack I just know that person lacks the vocabulary and/or the intelligence to appreciate his lyricism. There’s no way with the bars he spits that anyone should be considered a better lyricist than dude. Yet, people find a way to make the argument.

When I heard the line, it took me right back to that scene in the film when Robin Williams is introducing the kids to the concept of “carpe diem” and imploring the students to seize the day. Ill sh!t no doubt.

Real Sh*t Family…. I was listening to We made it the other day with him and Jay E and caught another line that got by me… Hov is the master of double triple entendres… Hov be talking to em and they be missing it then they get it dumbed down with a big word thrown in or a different flow and crown the next man lol
