(AllHipHop News) Asante Samuel undoubtedly made a name for himself during his run as one of the top cornerbacks in the NFL.
Dubbed “Mr. Pick Six,” Samuel’s career accomplishments include totaling 51 interceptions (6 for touchdowns), making the Pro Bowl 4 times, and winning 2 Super Bowl championships with the New England Patriots.
Now that the former Pats, Philadelphia Eagles and Atlanta Falcons player is no longer causing havoc for opposing quarterbacks, Samuel can focus on his other professional passion – music.
The Ft. Lauderdale native teamed with a friend to establish the independent label Deepside Entertainment, and the company’s flagship artist Young A.C. is on the verge of releasing his Enzo F60 project in the near future.
AllHipHop.com sat down with Samuel to discuss his move into music, working with A.C., and where he stands on the NFL’s decision to indefinitely suspend former Baltimore Ravens runningback Ray Rice for hitting his then fiancée.
