Kendrick is also nominated for best album makes it kind of obvious he will win best rap album

I can only presume that you have followed the grammys over the years, I admittedly have not outside the occasional rap album. So, you’re saying that every album that has been nominated for album of the year has also won the best album of its own genre?

I don’t, not going to lie but wouldn’t it make sense ? I mean if you’re nominated for the best album surely it means it was the best of rap category.Dont get me wrong I want j cole to win but it would be weird

I agree, it wouldn’t make sense but a lot of their decisions don’t make sense. I think K. Dot’s album is the best hip-hop album though based on how original it is, combined with the subject matter. But Cole’s album is pretty good also.

First things first, who the hell voted for Nicki? I wish there was an award show that took every hiphop album release into consideration for a reward and didn’t base it off of things such as sales. There was a lot of albums released last year that were great Ghostface is still releasing awesome material, Joe Buddens All Love Lost was a great overall album what about Ab-Souls album?

It’s rare that the best hip-hop albums are even nominated at least historically, let alone win. I personally think that Kendrick Lamar and J. Cole deserve it but the others are there for name recognition. Don’t be shocked when Drake wins. Eminem beat Things Fall Apart, that’s all you need to know.

However, like PE said, “who give a f@*k about a godd@mn Grammy”

yea I remember when eminems corny azz beat out the Roots. that shyt was disgusting! they don’t award REAL HIP HOP never will. that’s why I don’t fuc with that popularity contest.

nikki shouldn’t be on the fuccing list at ALL. they should give it to cole. they WANT to give it to Drake, but they will give it to Kendrick cause they fucced him out of one last time.
