Nick Cannon Forgets Two Of His 12 Kids’ Names

Nick Cannon forgot two of his children’s names during a podcast appearance and the moment quickly went viral.

Nick Cannon stumbled through a parenting pop quiz on The Really Good Podcast recently, when he failed to recall the names of all 12 of his children, leaving out two of them during an awkward exchange that quickly made the rounds online.

The media mogul and television host was a guest on Bobbi Althoff’s show, where she challenged him to name each of his children.

Nick Cannon, 44, accepted the task with a laugh and a warning: “I usually get in trouble… I’ll lay them all out for you, keep me honest.”

He rattled off names with confidence at first: “There’s ‘Roc, ‘Roe, Golden, Powerful, Rise, Onyx, Legendary, Zion, Zillion, Zen…” But midway through the list, he paused and asked, “See this is where … How many (are left)?”

Nick Cannon correctly mentioned Monroe and Moroccan—his 14-year-old twins with Mariah Carey—along with Golden Sagon, Powerful Queen and Rise Messiah, whom he shares with Brittany Bell.

He also named Onyx Ice Cole, daughter of LaNisha Cole, and Legendary Love, whom he shares with Bre Tiesi.

Twins Zion Mixolydian and Zillion Heir, born to Abby De La Rosa, and Zen, his late son with Alyssa Scott, who passed away at five months old in 2021, also made the list.

But two names were noticeably absent—Beautiful Zeppelin, his daughter with De La Rosa, and Halo Marie, his daughter with Scott.

The moment quickly drew attention across social media, where users debated whether the slip was understandable or careless. Nick Cannon, who has often spoken publicly about his unconventional family structure, didn’t offer an explanation for the oversight during the episode.

As of now, Cannon has not publicly addressed the moment beyond the podcast appearance, which aired earlier this week.
