AllHipHop’s Final Interview With Prodigy Of Mobb Deep

(AllHipHop Features) Hip-Hop has taken another heavy loss, as Prodigy of Mobb Deep has died suddenly. The rapper, real name Albert Johnson, died in Las Vegas on June 20, 2017. He was 42. Mobb Deep and AllHipHop go way back to the late 90’s and early 2000’s and that relationship continued until this year.

Prodigy had been extremely busy at the time of his passing. In just a few months, he had churned out a book, a solo album, heavy touring and was looking forward to a performance at the Harlem Arts festival this upcoming weekend. Earlier in the year, AllHipHop’s Chuck Creekmur interview P and the rapper/author had clearly evolved. He was looking forward to new music with Mobb Deep, had rethought his past beefs and had was really pondering life on an entirely different level, evidenced in Hegelian Dialectic (The Book of Revelation). Check out this interview with Prodigy and celebrate an infamous life well lived.

Prayers to P’s family, friends and partner-in-rhyme, Havoc.
