Jay-Z Reportedly Wants To Buy NJ Nets

Rapper/mogul Jay-Z maybe looking to ball in a different manner than his tenor in the rap game. After proclaiming The Black Album would be his last, Jigga is reportedly considering the purchase of the New Jersey Nets.

To explore the options, the rapper has retained New York investment company Andrew, Alexander, Wise & Co., to help aid in his effort.

The Nets are up for sale by parent company YankeeNets and there are reportedly four bids in for ownership of the team, between $250-$275 million dollars.

Jay-Z recently announced that several NBA players would wear a basketball version of his hit S.Carter Reebok sneaker and, according to sources, inked Cleveland Cavalier star LeBron James to a recording contract.

Jay-Z has been seeking ownership of a team since at least October, when he put in a bid for the Glenfalls Wildcats, a New York semi-pro basketball team that is up for sale for $300,000.

HHSAN Supports Eminem

Russell Simmons’ Hip-Hop Summit Action Network (HHSAN) has released a statement revealing its position on controversial lyrics Eminem wrote about African-Americans in a rap recited in 1993.

The tape was released to the media at a press conference in New York City on Wednesday, by Source founder Dave Mays and his partner, Raymond “Benzino” Scott.

On the 10-year-old tape, Eminem raps about an ex-girlfriend, who happened to be African-American and also makes disparaging comments about African-American women in general. In addition, the rapper used the “N-word” as well in a lyric referring to Sir Mix-A-Lot’s “Baby Got Back.”

“These lyrics are disgusting, but the oneness of hip-hop culture has transformed many young people in trailer parks around the country away from their parents¹ old mindset of white supremacy,” Russell Simmons said. “We believe Eminem’s apology is sincere and

forthright. He continues not only to be an icon of hip-hop, but also has evolved into a good soldier who gives back money, time and energy to the community, encouraging this generation of youth to reach their highest aspirations.”

This past April, the HHSAN honored Eminem at their Detroit Summit. The Detroit native was granted the National Outstanding Achievement Award for his charity work and hands-on support of youth nationwide.

Dr. Benjamin Chavis, President of HHSAN, said that the race card is often used to divide the hip-hop culture.

“Hip-hop culture transcends race,” Chavis noted. “We, therefore, must be careful as to how the race card is played to divide people rather than to encourage unity in the struggle for freedom, justice and equality for all.”

The support of Simmons’ non-profit organization comes on the heels of Eminem apologizing for the remarks, saying they were made out of anger and frustration.

Mays and Scott said they plan to issue a recording of the CD in each copy of the February issue of The Source.

Eminem has accused the magazine of having a “personal vendetta” against him and the artists associated with him.

The Source has refused to take the raps as “foolishness,” as Eminem put it in a retort. “These are racist remarks by someone who has the ability to influence millions of minds,” said editor-in-chief Kim Osorio to New York Newsday.

The tape is the latest in a series of insults hurled at each other, which includes diss records from both sides, The Source printing articles and posters aimed at discrediting Eminem and Eminem smashing his Source Award to pieces this year at Hot 97’s Summer Jam concert.

[They could] potentially save lives.”According to statistics, the number of homeless people in New York City are at higher levels than ever, surpassing the Great Depression. The event takes Monday, November 24 from 11am-12:15 pm at 227 Bowery, in Manhattan.

HHSAN Honors Diddy, Jay, Hilfiger and Pepsi

A bevy of Hip-Hop heavies past and present turned up for the first annual Hip-Hop Summit Action Awards benefit at the Laura Belle private event venue in Manhattan on Tuesday. Russell Simmons played host as decade-spanning artists Jay-Z, P. Diddy, MC Shan, Grandmaster Flash, and others arrived alongside civil rights advocates Jesse Jackson and the evening’s keynote speaker, civil rights lawyer Willie E. Gary.

“Entertainers are realizing that you can make money and make a difference at the same time, and that awareness is going to help young people we lost get involved again,” Gary said as he entered the event flanked by Reverend Jackson and Mayor Bloomberg.

Chaired by Russell Simmons, the Hip-Hop Summit Action Network (HSAN) is a non-profit coalition of artists, entertainment industry executives and community leaders who advocate positive social change by leveraging the power and influence of Hip-Hop. The group’s primary focus is the welfare of at-risk youth in the United States.

Event honorees included Jay-Z, P. Diddy, Tommy Hilfiger and Pepsi-Cola North America President Dawn Hudson for their outstanding work and dedication to community and youth empowerment. When asked how each of the honorees were chosen, Simmons noted Jay’s continual support through donations from live performances, Diddy’s recent jaunt through the five boroughs in support of New York City’s Public Schools, and Hilfiger’s long-standing commitment to give back to the Hip-Hop community that helped fuel the success of his clothing line.

Perhaps the cause’s largest contributor and honoree was Hudson, who became fast associates with Simmons when he threatened a mass consumer boycott of Pepsi. The episode came after the soft drink giant announced that it had dropped Ludacris as a spokesperson after conservative TV host Bill O’Reilly publicly crusaded against the rapper. Pepsi subsequently announced that it would make a multimillion dollar donation to the Ludacris Foundation, which supports arts and music programs for underprivileged youth.

Wu Tang To Release Book And Tour

Wu-Tang Clan’s RZA is leading the publication of a book on the history

of The Wu-Tang Clan. Riverhead Books will release “The Wu-Tang

Manual,” which will contain autobiographies from each member as well as

a lyrical encyclopedia.

“This is basically everything Wu,” Riverhead senior editor Sean McDonald told Billboard. “A large chunk will be the whole mythology of the group, explaining not so much how they came up with it, but what it means to them and how everything interconnects.”

The group will hit the road for a 60 city tour in the Spring of 2004, to coincide with the release of the paper back book.

The concert has been labeled the group’s farewell tour, a notion Raekwon seemed to indirectly confirm in a recent interview.

“With the Clan I learned so much. The clan will always be the clan but at the same time we all got routes that we want to take in life and we kings right now,” Rae told AllHipHop.com. “Every king needs his own castle. We can’t all be in one castle and try to call shots. Everybody has to have his own destiny and make something positive happen for all of us.”

It’s a chance to look back and explain what they’ve been doing all along. No one has actually been able to reveal the way it is all put together in their minds, particularly in RZA’s,” McDonald said.

Eminem Says Tape Was Made As A Frustrated Teen

At a press conference in New York yesterday, The Source Magazine unveiled a tape recording of Eminem freestyling, using racial slurs against African-Americans.The tape, which features a young Eminem rhyming over a beatbox and primitive drum machine, was recorded around 1993 according to a press release issued by the magazine. On the tape Eminem says: All the girls I like to bone have big butts/ No they don’t, ’cause I don’t like that n*gger sh*t/ I’m just here to make a bigger hit/Later on Eminem raps about a girlfriend he broke up with: I’lll get straight to the point/Black girls are b*tches, that’s why I’ma tell ya you better pull up your britches/Cause all that cash is making your ass drag from the boyfriend ya ganked and that’s pretty bad/I mean that’s pretty sad when ya dating a Black guy/And then you turn around a f*ck another big, Black guy now that’s pretty wrong, but you’re just ganking/But that’s okay because you need a godd*mn spanking/From me, the funky Eminem”Don’t make this right now a double standard,” Benzino said. “We gotta treat this the same way you treat Mike Tyson, like you treat Kobe Bryant, like you treat R. Kelly, like you treat O.J. Simpson.”Eminem has accused The Source founder Dave Mays and his partner, Raymond “Benzino” Scott of pursuing a vendetta against him and the artists on his Shady Records, which include 50 Cent and G-Unit.“Ray Benzino, Dave Mays and The Source have had a vendetta against me, Shady Records and our artists for a long time,” Eminem said in a statement. “The tape they played today was something I made out of anger, stupidity and frustration when I was a teenager. I’d just broken up with my girlfriend, who was African-American, and I reacted like the angry, stupid kid I was. I hope people will take it for the foolishness that it was, not for what somebody is trying to make it into today.”Mays and Scott promised to continue pursue the issue, saying a CD of the recordings would be contained in their February issue.

Juve The Great is his first official release since his 2001 effort, Project English. The first single from the album will be “In My Life,” which was produced by Cash Money’s resident producer Mannie Fresh.Mannie Fresh said that the arrangement between the label and Juvenile was merely a business relationship, despite the close ties Juvenile and Cash Money once shared.”He’s back on Cash Money, but it’s just a business deal,” Manny Fresh told AllHipHop.com in August. “He’s putting out an album but there are still issues that need to be worked out.”Grey accused the owners of Cash Money of cheating him out of hundreds of thousands of dollars and refused to record for the company.Last week, an arrest warrant was issued for Grey, for allegedly failing to pay child support to the mother of his 6-month-old daughter.

The Source To Hold Press Conference Surrounding Alleged Eminem Tape

<font face="Verdana, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif"The Source Magazine will hold a press conference today, unveiling what they allege is an audio track recorded by Eminem which according to a press release, contains "racial slurs about black women and black people in general."Source founder Dave Mays and Raymond “Benzino” Scott will play the recording from start to finish, which they claim was obtained by three hip-hop fans from Detroit who were “peers” of Eminem in the early 1990’s when the recording was made.According to the press release, the magazine claims to have verified the authenticity of the tape, but did not reveal what measures they took in determining whether the tape is indeed the voice of Eminem.”The tape contains what is clearly identifiable as Eminem’s voice, reciting racial slurs targeted against Black women,” the magazine said in a press release. “It proves Benzino right after a year of being vilified by the media for bringing such questions surrounding Eminem to the fore.”In the past, the magazine has included full page posters and cartoons depicting Eminem as Elvis and Benzino crushing candy M&M’s in addition to a variety of articles aimed at discrediting Eminem and artists on his Shady Records. Benzino and Eminem have also recorded numerous records aimed at discrediting each other.”Bringing this tape to the public is the latest chapter in The Source Magazine’s ongoing effort to expose influences corrupting Hip-Hop, including racism,” the magazine said.

Pitch Black: The Blacker The Berry…

With the rift between supposed “real” hip hop and “mainstream” hip hop seemingly growing vaster with each release, emcees D.G., Devious, Fast, G.O.D., and Zakee, the five member group of BK spitters that make up Pitch Black, wish not to be pigeon holed into either of hip hops seemingly opposed schools of thought. Pitch Black’s Premo produced lead single, “It’s All Real,” is a classic DJ Premier track that puts on full display the rhyming range of the group and has cats salivating for whatever other dopeness Pitch Black can deliver. Combine a dope single with a equally as dope video featuring an omnipresent hovering mic, and it’s a wrap, Pitch Black is here.

The five emcees spoke with Allhiphop about the upcoming album, Pitch Black Law, hooking up with Premo, and they dispelled any thoughts that the sound of their lead single should have cats thinking that they are against mainstream records or that they are on some backpackism. In fact, Pitch Black says they just want to make good hip hop that has “integrity,” what a novel idea.

Allhiphop.com: How did you guys find each other?

G.O.D: We grew up together, we family, D.G., Fast, and G.O.D. are cousins, and we met Zakee through our first manager and is D is from around the way, so it goes way back.

Allhiphop: It seems it’s hard for large hip hop groups to stay relevant and even get into the game, what made a five member group the route for you?

G.O.D: I mean the chemistry is there, yaknowwhatImean, sometimes you only have a certain chemistry with certain individuals and when you know you’ve got a sound and a chemistry it’s something that you’re gona wanna keep going. We’ve got a sound that’s distinctive from other groups and anybody who hears that “It’s all Real” single can hear that from jump. So by having a different sound we bringing something to the game that not really in the game right now and that’s clearing an automatic slot for us.

Allhiphop: The singles crazy, it’s bananas, how did ya’ll hook up with DJ Premier?

Fast: Yo DJ Premier man, he’s the greatest man, he’s a real individual and ya know, real recognize real so when we got up it was just like a slam bang shin ding, ya know what I’m talkin’ bout. We met him through our first producer by the name of Rich Black, and the first Rich Black songs that were ever made were made in D&D studios and we use to work in studio A and Premo use to be in studio B right next door. So we would hear him cranking out some real classic s###, and we were like ‘damn man, we wanna work with Premo’ and ya know, he felt us, but he was busy at the time. So we waited it out, we waited for our turn and when he’s schedule was clear he got with us and we made “It’s all Real.” He felt that and he said he was gona give us another beat and then we made a song called “Got it Locked” with Foxy Brown and both of those songs are on the album.

Allhiphop: Since about the early to mid 90’s there has been a growing rift in the hip hop fan base, between those who favor “real” hip hop and those who lean towards mainstream or radio friendly hip hop…what are your thoughts on that dynamic and where do you think Pitch Black fits in it?

Zakee: Alright, as far as that is concerned, I think a little bit before that, hip hop kinda got divided cause before that era, everything was cool, Tribe Called Quest had their thing, NWA had their thing, EPMD had their thing, Eric B and Rakim had their thing, Kane had their thing, Slick Rick and Doug E Fresh Dana Dane had their thing and everybody was cool with what everybody was doing. Everybody had their own movement and what their we’re doing and everybody was cool, somewhere down the line that got divided and, so it was like alright, I can’t mess with them cause their making party music, I’m real hip hop. But since when is that real hip hop when one of the most important songs in hip hop history is a party song, Rappers’ Delight. Then somewhere down the line, where did we go wrong, that’s the whole problem. Pitch Black is neither of them, we Pitch Black, we represent everything that’s dark.

Allhiphop: Talk about each other’s rhyming style and how it all blends together?

Fast: I’m the flamboyant one of the group, I’m the poster boy, ya know, when I talk about the fast cars, fast life, yaknowwhatImtalkingbout, fast cash, I bring that element to the group.

D.G: My style is basically just street, I gone keep mines street, I’m telling the ghetto tales, I’m doing the damn thing like that, I got a lot of passion and aggression with my style so you gona hear a lot of that.

Devious: I’m the BK loud mouth, I’m the one who make all the noise, all the energy, a lyricist, and I deliver the laugh that go with the grit. I’ll think of the most craziest punchline you could think of that will be funny, but at the end of the day, when you think about it, it don’t be funny at all

Zakee: My style is more like unpredictable, you just never know what I’m gona say I might say anything at any given time.

G.O.D: I just try to show as many sides to life as I can man, I got quote what I say ‘G.O.D. is agony, exctasy, simplicity, complexity, mental fortitude and lyrical dexterity,’ yaknowwhatImsaying, I just try to be as lyrical as possible

Let’s get into the album, what can we expect?

Zakee: The album drops December 16th, we got a lot of production, a lot of big names. We got Teddy Riley, we got Swizz Beatz, we got Young Lord, we got Nots, we got Premo of course, and it’s a well rounded album, it represent BK because it makes a lot of noise and it represent who we are. But its well rounded it’s got songs on there that everybody can listen to, whether it be little kids, your Grandmother, old grown folks, people on the block, hustlers who ever and it’s just a well rounded album.

Allhiphop: You mentioned Foxy Brown, what other features?

Zakee: We got Foxy Brown and Busta, that’s it.

Allhiphop: I like that, keeping it in the family

Devious: Yeah, bar bones ya know. We already pretty deep at five members so, ya know.

Allhiphop: Your current single, does that kinda of sum up how you feel about hip hop?

D.G: Naw, I think for us the single is just a good foundation setup for how we plan to go about in our journey through this hip hop thing. “It’s all Real” is a good foundation because we saying it’s all real, so everything we do no matter what we do, as long as we representing it and we believe in it and we confident in what we doing, “It’s All Real” for us.

G.O.D: We try to approach things in a down to Earth way, we ain’t trying to be put into some hole, like we some backpackers or something like that and we against pop records, we don’t even want something like that to start, because we not, we trying to sell records, but at the same time, we just trying to come with some integrity in our music. And being that it’s missing in a lot of music, it might seem a little strange right now, but the game was once like that, and we just wanna add to the game and not take from it.

Allhiphop: Any last words from you fellas

Pitch Black: Yeah man, Pitch Black Law, the album, January 27th, get that, Travio/Universal Records. We wanna to say peace to everybody that ever supported us…and love to the fans.

material with a market value of over $50 million dollars.

The ring was allegedly operated

by a Lawrenceville, Georgia man named Khalid "DJ Rock" Satary and

had been operating since 1999.

Over 127,00 CD’s were confiscated.

The CD’s, which

included The Beastie Boys, Tupac, Soulja Slim, Ashanti, The Jackson 5 and The

"The victims

of piracy operations like these are local legitimate music retailers trying

to make a living, as well as record companies, artists, songwriters and everyone

else involved in bringing music to the public," said Cary Sherman, president

of the Recording Industry Association of America.

50 Cent Leads AMA Winners

Missy Elliot took

home the Best Female Rap Artist award. The rapper had trouble getting to the

around drinking my drinks and partying on their way to the clubs. There’s going

to be a reward for y’all."

Signed Jay-Z Albums Up For Auction

Universal &

Ebay have put 100 signed copies of Jay-Z’s The Black Album up for auction.

One copy contains tickets to Jay-Z’s sold out benefit concert at Madison Square

Garden in New York City.

The performance

will benefit Jay-Z’s Shawn Carter Scholarship Fund and Russell Simmons’ Hip-Hop

Summit Action Network. To bid on the auction, which ends Monday, visit: http://members.ebay.com/aboutme/universalmusicgroup/

In related news,

Jay-Z appeared on Big Tigger’s nationally syndicated radio show, "Live

In The Den With Big Tigger."

The rapper confirmed

that The Black Album would be the final solo album of his career, so

he could focus on his various business endeavors, which include a version of

his "S.Carter" sneaker for N.B.A. players and a new line of S.C. clothing.

"It’s going

to be a year, year and half, maybe even 2 years before I am back running the

business full time," Jay-Z revealed. "I’m a human being. It won’t

be 6 months, I can guarantee that. I believe I have accomplished everything

I can."

Jay-Z also cleared

the air about recent allegations surrounding an alleged beef brewing with Busta

Rhymes. On "What More Can I Say," the rapper raised eyebrows when

he said the lines:

"I ain’t

get shot up a whole bunch of times/And I ain’t animated like say a Busta Rhymes"

"I was surprised

because I was talking about the level of energy Busta has on the stage,"

Jay-Z clarified. "I didn’t mean no ill will. Just like my strong point

is bringing my reality, he brings that energy. I wasn’t trying to diss him.

If I diss you, you know it. My disses be clear and they hurt."

In the interview

Jay touched on his relationship with Dame Dash, but didn’t clarify whether recent

rumors about his leaving the Roc were true.

"Me and Dame,

we are good money. But we are growing up. He got things he wants to accomplish,

I got things I want to do for Jay."

Of Cam’Ron and

The Diplomats, Jay-Z said that everything was on the up and up between them,

they simply do not know each other.

"Me and Cam

were never cool. I don’t have any beef, I just don’t really know him,"

Jay-Z said. "I don’t know them dudes but it’s all good. Him and Dame are

from the same area of Harlem and I am from Brooklyn."

Twista Prep’s “Kamikaze” LP & Diamond Studded Car Rims

Twista recently wrapped

up shooting the video for his first single "Slow Jamz," from his long

awaited solo set, Kamikaze.

The video and song

features producer Kanye West and actor/comedian Jamie Foxx, both of whom make

appearances in the video.

"The video

is like a house party, how we used to do it," Twista told AllHipHop.com.

"We got Jamie Foxx in there playing records, me and Kanye got women around

and man it’s tight. It’s got a lot of raw shots."

The release of

the single and video marks Twista’s first solo album since running into contractual

problems with his old label, Creators Way Associated Labels.

The rapper had

to file bankruptcy in an attempt to solve his legal woes. With most of those

issues behind him, Twista is still negotiating a deal with Dame Dash’s Roc-A-Fella

Records.

"I am signed

to Atlantic, but they are working something out on the joint venture side with

Roc-A-Fella," Twista said. "I got a strong relationship with Dame,

so I am waiting to see what happens."

The relationship

with the Roc is apparent on Kamikaze. In addition to production from

Kanye West, the album features guest appearances from Freeway, The Young Gunz

and Memphis Bleek. Ceelo, Ludacris, Too Short and 8Ball also drop verses on

the album.

In addition to

the Kamikaze project, Twista is working on a new Speedknot Mobstaz project,

which is tentatively titled Nation Business.

Twista is branching

off from the music game as well and recently released his own Kamikaze rims

for cars.

"The Kamikaze

rims are out now," Twista continued. "They got diamond studs in them.

They are made by Omega. They are out now on the West Coast."

Kamikaze

features production by Red Spyder, Kanye West, Jazze Pha and Toxic. The album

is due in stores in January.

Jay-Z To Release “Black” Cellphone, On Pace To Land At #1

Jay-Z is in negotiations

with a major wireless handset manufacturer and will create a "black"

cell phone, which will be available in December.

The "black"

cell phone is in line with the mogul’s "black" theme, centered around

the release of what he calls the final solo album of his rap career.

The black version

of his S.Carter sneaker has been moved up to November 21, while The Black

Album, which was slated to drop November 28, was bumped up to November 14

due to rampant piracy online and street bootlegging.

Even with the release

date being moved up by two weeks, the demand for both Jay-Z’s The Black Album

and G-Unit’s Beg For Mercy, proved to be immense.

Both titles violated

their official street release date and major retailers had the albums on the

shelves as early as Tuesday, the same day that Tupac Shakur’s Resurrection

soundtrack hit the stores.

Jay-Z is on pace

move 400,000 units, which could edge out Shakur’s release on Billboard’s Top

200 Albums Chart.

Resurrection

is on pace to move 350,000 units, but sales may spike due to the release of

the accompanying film to theaters nationwide.

G-Unit is expected

to take the number 3 position and move close to 300,000 copies.

Tray Deee: By Any Means

Tha Eastsidaz have gotten a taste of what it feels like to be on the wrong side of the game. The group claims that the man who brought them to West Coast prominence, Snoop Dogg, duped the them of over $1 million each. With platinum and gold albums on their resume, Tha Eastsidaz say they have received about $240,000 and a platinum chain as payment for their success.

Obviously, Snoop Dogg’s alleged reciprocity practices do not bode well with Tha Eastsidaz. The situation has reportedly gotten heated to the point of violence. Alongside a reputable accounting firm, they have decided to take their fight to the legal arena to get what is due them. AllHipHop.com talked to Tha Eastsidaz’s Tray Dee hours before an alleged and well-publicized shooting incident. The rapper was arrested in his home after a witness stated he was involved with the felony.

Still, regardless of the case, the group just wants justice – by any means. Read the shocking interview.

Allhiphop.com: We received a press release with a statement saying some disparaging things about Snoop Dogg. Is any of what I read true?

Tray Deee: That’s as real as it gets, brother. They are a bunch of bustas, man. A bunch of opportunists who saw what was really going on and was hiding behind closed doors and really wasn’t participating in it. They got their stories together and created a character, man. They are like those “Peanuts” characters from Charlie Brown. They are a bunch of fabricated images without a foundation under them. One day, they kickin’ “187 on an undercover cop,” but deep down inside, he wanted to be a little pimp. I guess when the fame caught him, he got caught up in all the glitz and glamour. What he aspired to be when he looked out of his window, he wanted to be me.

Allhiphop.com: The first Eastsidaz album went platinum, right?

Tray Deee: The first one went platinum. The second one was headed to platinum, but they sabotaged it after we found out what the situation really was as far as how they did us on points and royalties.

Allhiphop.com: Did they pay you and Goldie Loc the amount of money you were due from the first album?

Tray Deee: We actually received $40,000.

Allhiphop.com: You only got $40,000 from a platinum album? Who in the hell received the gist of that money?

Tray Deee: Snoop and TVT.

Allhiphop.com: What kind of numbers did the second album hit?

Tray Deee: It went gold. It sold about 700,000 copies.

Allhiphop.com: How was the money divvied up on that album?

Tray Deee: We got a $200,000 advance and that was it. They raked in all the spoils and didn’t divide it. Snoop was all in it with that Steve Gottlieb dude. He tried to play all innocent and all that. He’s still smoking blunts and coaching kids, man. He’s the biggest sucker of them all. He ran. I tried to address the situation with him as a man. We’ve been going at it for the past two years. I’ve been trying to resolve with him diplomatically, not going to court, because I want him to say, “yeah man, I did wrong, but let me make it right.” He ain’t man enough to even do that. He would rather hire a bunch of security to protect me from getting to him. I’ve been checking him, man. He’s been living off of my “G” reputation since 1995.

Allhiphop.com: On the outside, Snoop seems cool. But you know him – how is he outside of the cameras and paparazzi?

Tray Deee: He’s a family man, wants to do right by his children. His wife runs the household. He just wants his little space to act like he’s pimpin’, but in actuality he’s paying. He’s paying Don (Magic) Juan and the hoes. He’s Don Juan’s main hoe! He don’t walk around Long Beach or nothing like that. He sends scouts out to look around to see who’s where so he knows which places to avoid. So when he shows up, everything’s cool. He has 20 bodyguards surrounding him with a bunch of blunt rollers and yes men.

Allhiphop.com: I was reading a story about he gave you and Goldie Loc a chain as payment for the album. Is there any truth to that?

Tray Deee: Yeah, a little platinum chain. He tried to say it cost $71,000, but then he turned around and said that’s what he paid for 10 of them. The first ones he gave us were cubic zirconias and silver. Then, he went to the jeweler and had them do up about 10 real pieces. I went and finished getting mine flooded out on my own expense. He’ll give you $5,000 to write a verse for him, or $5,000-$10,000 to do a song with him. He’ll turn around and make a million, or two or three.

Allhiphop.com: Snoop has to be a multi-millionaire with all of that going on.

Tray Deee: If you tell him you’re doing bad, he’ll give you $50 or something, then tell the bodyguards to show you the door.

Allhiphop.com: What was the situation when you went to his house and tried to collect the money he owes you?

Tray Deee: I went on peace to tell him to come clean with what he owes me. He ran out of his house and hopped in his truck. His bodyguard tried to tell him to come back. I told him to go ahead, add it up and chip mines off. I came back the next day to collect, and his people fired on me.

Allhiphop.com: They shot at you?

Tray Deee: Yeah, they unleashed some shots at me.

Allhiphop.com: Well, the word on the street was you were shaking Snoop down. He was actually paying you.

Tray Deee: No, we weren’t shaking him down. He was paying the homeboys to keep the rest of the homeboys off of him. He’s a b#### boy. He don’t take care of his people, man. He don’t got no businesses in the city, none of that.

Allhiphop.com: Do you have any sort of legal leg to stand on in all of this?

Tray Deee: Fa sho, fa sho! I got Fred Moutrie from an accounting firm (Moss Adams LLP) who says they owe us $1,000,000 a piece.

Allhiphop.com: You and Goldie Loc are owed in excess of $1,000,000 each?

Tray Deee: Yep. Me and Goldie. But now, I’m the talent coordinator for the Xtreme Fighting Championships.

Allhiphop.com: Really?

Tray Deee: Yeah, I’m on the Board of Directors; I’m a shareholder. Tito Ortiz is my business partner.

Allhiphop.com: Tito Ortiz is the truth. He will split your wig in four or five places in a second.

Tray Deee: I want to tell to Snoop to go to the Staples Center and meet me in the Octagon. No holds barred for $1,000,000 a piece. I’ll give him 90 days to train for it, too. Him and his security detail. We’ll match off weight classes. We’ll do it on pay per view. Him and his security against me and my homeboys. Tell him he can even get G-Unit since he’s on their nuts. He can name his squad the DPG Unit, since he’s on 50 Cent’s and Chingy’s nuts. Get 50 Cent and his boys, too! He can get G-Unit and the Chingy posse against Tray Deee and the Eastside Crips. He wants P-Diddy to produce his next album. How is he going to be a West Coast artist and his last two singles was “From The Chuuch To Da Palace” and “Beautiful?”

Ice Cube Explains “Terrorist Threats”

Ice Cube, Mack 10

and WC are preparing to drop Terrorist Threats, the latest Westside Connection

album.

Like their multiplatinum

Bow Down, the group is going against the grain and calling out the rap

game.

In the process,

the trio hope to drop some gem’s while they have their listeners ears.

"It was thought

put into the whole album," Cube told AllHipHop.com. "You can not only

listen to the album, but it can inspire you. We are tackling a couple of different

subjects."

Ice Cube has labeled

the album an "intelligent" one, which touches on a variety of subjects

as opposed to an album filled with radio friendly rap.

The album tackles

the current state of rap music, what a "real pimp" does and other

forms of street knowledge.

"The whole

thing is…never pimp a hoe pimp a CEO," Cube continued. "We just

trying to inject some energy back into the people this time. We didn’t want

to make an album that you dance to or listen to talk bout who you wanna f*ck

and that stuff. We just talking about real stuff that street politic."

Westside Connection’s

Terrorist Threats hits stores December 9th.
