“I’ve never been more Nigerian in my life, I’ve never been more Yoruba in my life, I’ve never been more Black in my life…” I Don’t Camouflage visited visual artist / musician LAOLU Senbanjo one hot summer day at his home in Brooklyn. In this intimate mini-documentary, LAOLU shares his stories on how he used to blend in, how he battled pressure from his parents and peers, new discovery from moving in to NYC, among others.
LAOLU is known for his recent collaboration with Beyonce’s visual album “Lemonade” and Nike’s “Master of Air.”
