Soulection Artist GoldLink Announces Debut Album + New Single “Spectrum”

GOLDLINK SHARES NEW SINGLE “SPECTRUM”

DMV rapper/singer and future bounce pioneer, GoldLink, has announced his first full-length And After That, We Didn’t Talk, to be released November 13th via LA-based  music culture platform, Soulection. The 11 track LP which features production from, Demo Taped, Galimatias, Medasin, Tom Misch and longtime collaborator Louie Lastic will also feature singer/saxophonist Masego and a range of vocals and melodies from new DMV up and comer April George.

GoldLink has received an overwhelming amount of early support off of the strength of one mixtape, The God Complex, garnering recognition from NPR, Fader, Pitchfork, landing the XXL 2015 Freshman cover to having the man who helped popularize hip hop music, Rick Rubin’s co-sign and blessing. GoldLink is now poised to bridge the gap between hip hop and dance music.

And After That We Didn’t Talk not only further explores GoldLink’s future bounce style but focuses on his progression as a human. The record sees GoldLink juxtaposing his traditional flow with more vocal melodies creating the next iteration of himself – GoldLink 2.0. As a proven genre-bending and forward-thinking artist, the decision to align himself with Soulection was a logical next step in spreading this new sound. Soulection Radio (on Beats 1), record label and global future music platform has always been a strong supporter of GoldLink’s vision through inclusion of headlining live shows in LA and London to selling out DC’s 930 Club as well as visibility through digital channels like Soundcloud, social media and Soulection Radio.
