Jaguar Wright Responds To Jay-Z Diss With Epstein Files Jab “Won’t Say A Word In DC”

Jaguar Wright responds to Jay-Z’s Roots Picnic freestyle name-drop, calling out his hypocrisy and contradictions in an exclusive interview.

Jaguar Wright isn’t backing down after Jay-Z called her out during his surprise freestyle at the Roots Picnic.

The legendary artist took the stage in Philadelphia and dissed Drake, Damon Dash, Oschino, Nicki Minaj and lawyer Tony Buzbee, but he actually name-dropped Wright, saying, “Quest introduced me to Jaguar. I don’t know why I still f### with him.”

In an exclusive interview on Real Life Street Starz, Wright broke down exactly what went down and why she’s not sweating the diss.

She explained that Jay-Z was referencing their connection through the MTV Unplugged performance back in the day, but she’s quick to set the record straight about how that actually went down.

“I was doing them a favor,” Wright said. “They wasn’t doing me no favor…he wasn’t everything that he later became to be.”

Wright also called out the hypocrisy in Jay-Z’s freestyle. He went after Tony Buzbee, but Wright pointed out that Buzbee must have more liquid cash than Jay-Z because he didn’t need PPP loans to survive the pandemic.

But here’s what really got Wright’s attention: Jay-Z didn’t say anything about Diddy. Not one bar. This is significant because Diddy is the one who put Jay-Z on Tony Buzbee’s radar in the first place.

“He ain’t say nothing about Diddy though,” Wright said. “He ain’t say nothing about Diddy. Like you want to sit up there and talk about ‘you [Questlove] is the one that introduced me to her, but Diddy’s the one that put Tony Buzbee into your life. Why he ain’t getting no bars?”

Wright also brought up Jay-Z’s recent comments about battling in Hip-Hop. Earlier this year, in a GQ interview, he said battling should probably no longer be part of the culture.

But then he got on stage and started snapping on people. Wright believes Jay-Z is spiraling.

“This is the beginning of his spiral,” she said. “He’s spiraling out of control and it’s about to get worse. The hypocrisy of it all. You going to sit up here and act all benevolent and act like you above it all and you’re this grand adult now and you do the exact opposite of everything that you said.”

Wright also pointed out something that caught her attention: Jay-Z was able to make it to Philadelphia to run his mouth on stage, but he wasn’t able to make it to Washington, D.C., to answer questions about why his name appears in the Epstein files.

“You can run your mouth in Philly, but you can’t run your mouth in DC,” Wright said. “It’s right down the street. You so talkative in Philly, but you won’t say a word in DC. Why not? I think that’s what everyone’s forgetting. You’re watching a man that is ducking his involvement in some very nefarious and nasty things.”
