6ix9ine Reportedly Plans To Reject The Witness Protection Program

The remarkably mocked musician apparently wants to stay famous.

(AllHipHop News) Will Daniel “Tekashi 6ix9ine” Hernandez be able to make music again? That is one of the public’s pressing questions after the rainbow-haired rapper’s three-day testimony for federal prosecutors went viral.

6ix9ine took the stand against his alleged former Nine Trey Bloods comrades Anthony “Harv” Ellison and Aljermiah “Nuke” Mack. The “Gummo” performer also named Casanova, Trippie Redd, Jim Jones, and Cardi B as Blood members in open court.

The terms “snitch” and “rat” were quickly pinned on Tekashi, and the internet was flooded with memes making fun of him. People began to wonder if cooperating with the government to convict his ex-partners would be the end of 6ix9ine’s career, especially because it was assumed he would take on a new identity for safety.

According to TMZ, Tekashi will choose not to enter the witness protection program upon release from federal custody. Apparently, the Dummy Boy album creator wants to return to the rap game with 24-hour security.

Ellison was accused of taking part in kidnapping and robbing 6ix9ine in 2018. He and Mack are facing racketeering and firearm charges. They both pleaded not guilty.

Tekashi 6ix9ine was indicted on racketeering, using a firearm during a crime of violence, and other counts. The 23-year-old Brooklynite was facing a minimum sentence of 47 years in prison. He pleaded guilty before agreeing to be the prosecution’s “star witness.”
