Tyran “Ta

Ta” Moore was sentenced to six years in prison for gun possession, after

being named a suspect in the shooting of an NYPD officer in Harlem in 2003.

Moore, who was later cleared of the shooting, claims that the government is

targeting him due to his association with McGriff and Irv “Gotti”

Lorenzo. McGriff is accused of the 2001 murder of rapper Eric “E-Money

Bags” Smith, while Lorenzo and his brother Christopher are accused of

laundering millions of dollars in drug proceeds for McGriff. "When I was

interrogated about the officer being shot, it took one hour or two," Moore

told the Judge. "The other interrogation took more than a day." Moore

also has a child with Sandra “Pepa” Denton of Salt-N-Pepa fame.
