Dr. Dre Sells His Mansion And Sets A New Record

The producers of “Love & Listings” might want to contact Dr. Dre because he is making big moves in the real estate game.

(AllHipHop News) Dr. Dre has been making some big moves in the real estate business lately.

The producer is responsible for the careers of blockbuster artists like Snoop Dogg, Eminem, 50 Cent and Kendrick Lamar to name a few.

And now Dr. Dre’s long-term bet on a piece of property in Los Angeles has finally paid off.
According to reports, Dr. Dre has finally sold his lavish Woodland Hills mansion for $4.5 million.

The closing was almost $1 million less than the asking price the Death Row Records founder was seeking in July when the house came on the market.

But it’s still another come up for Dr. Dre, who scooped up the home a little over $2 million over 20 years ago.

The lucky buyer snagged a piece of property that includes eight bedrooms and 13 bathrooms, as well as amenities like a recording studio, a movie theater, an Olympic-sized pool, a huge 150-gallon fish tank.

According to Architectural Digest, the closing price of $4.5 million also set a record for home sales in the Woodland Hills area.

Dre, born Andre Young, has since moved on.

After he cashed out and sold his Beats By Dre brand to Apple for $3 billion, he bought Tom Brady’s old mansion for $40 million.

Dre, who has a net worth of over $800 million also bought up some waterfront property in Pacific Palisades for almost $3 million. He copped another mansion in Calabasas for $4.9 million in April.
